He's gone. And I'm sitting inside my class with my friends right now. Everyone's talking, some are revising, all of us waiting for our professor to come. A student from the commerce batch cones and informs us that our principal wants to see us. And we're required to go to the auditorium.
" Why do you think they're calling us right now ?" Iris asked.
" Dk maybe some surprise exam announcement." Enid replied.
Claire sighed " Can't you be positive ?"
" Won't it be better if stop wasting time and go there. We'll get to know anyways." Luna suggested.
" Exactly. Let's go or we'll be the last ones." I told them.
Once we all were seated our principal walked in. He was smiling way too much today. Weird. Not that our principal is a bad man, actually he's really good. He walks up to the podium and taps on the mic twice before he starts speaking.
" Good morning everyone. I know you all must be very curious about why I called you all here suddenly. So the thing is that I'd like to tell y'all about the upcoming Spring festival. It is a sort of prom. You choose your own partners and your partner could be form outside as well. This event is also partly a charity event where we are going to raise money for orphanages. So this will also contribute to your social service profile and it's going to be a very fun evening of dance, music, food and interaction. Any questions ? "
" Sir will we have to do some work or do we just attend the event ? " A blonde hair girl asked.
" See basically what you can do is find volunteers or people who would like to donate. Your parents can donate. You could donate. And our trustees will obviously contribute. And there will be many alumni at the event so you could talk to them get to learn many things etc. "
" Ok thank you sir. "
" And yes we'll have the best pair winners also. So this event will be held on the upcoming Sunday. I hope to see all of you there. You may go back to your classes now, right now we've just started with the third period. Thank you. "
"Omo a Spring dance festival. I can't believe it !!!" Enid literally screamed while we were walking back to our class.
" We need to chose partners now. " Iris said.
" Aria does not need to choose a partner. "
" What ?" I asked.
" I mean Ezekiellllll" Enid smiled at me. " And then we could have his friends as our partners."
" Oh yeah absolutely. It'll be so much fun " Luna spoke up.
" Wait wait have y'all gone crazy ? How can I ask Ezekiel to be my partner ? What will he think of me ?"
" He'll think you trust him and love him back." Claire shrugged.
" YESSSS SEE NO WORRIES !" Enid will surely be the death of me. These people have lost it completely. And plus Ezekiel is on a business trip right now and what if his friends think I'm trying to set them up with my friends. No no this is too embarrassing.
" No guys how is this possible ? Plus Ezekiel is on a business trip right now, he'll come back on Sunday morning."
" Oooooo how do you know that he's on a trip and when he's coming back ?" Iris asked.

" Yahhhh you both have been texting and talking to each other and you didn't even tell us !?!?" Why does Enid scream so much ? ;(
" He just told me that he's going out and that if I need any kind of help then I should inform him. He's like this since that crying incident. Like when I was crying alone that day and shared my problems with him. "
" See see he totally loves you. Just text him already. He'll be so happy. " Claire said.
" But what if he thinks I like him ? I mean I don't look at him. "

" Ow wait. There's something called patience woman. " I told her rubbing my ribs. I opened WhatsApp and his number. He was online. Kill me. Just whyyyyy ? Wth is life so unfair to me.
I looked at my friends and they convincingly nodded at me. I started by texting a * Hi *
A few secs later he saw message as the blue ticks appeared. And my heartbeats reached another level.
He's typing.
* Hi love. Is there anything you need ? *
God I'm so so nervous while these asses are laughing excitedly.
I type back. * Ummm no nothing much. How are you ? Did you reach safely ? What are you doing right now ? I hope I did not disturb you ? * Wait did I type too much ?

* I'm absolutely fine love and I reached safely. Right now I'm in my house having a cup of 'Tea' and no you did not disturb me. You can never. Talking to you makes my day much better. In fact I was getting bored and restless right now but just a 'Hi' text from you made me feel much much better.*

* Do you know that there is an upcoming spring dance festival in our university ?"
* I'm aware * obviously he knows. He's legit one of the biggest trustees. How dumb am I.
* So basically we need a partner and like uk Ik many people in school but I don't think I'm that comfortable with having someone as my partner and like I know you very well and you're someone I can trust. So.... *

Ok no I was sure he's gna get mad at me. Like what was I thinking.

* I'll meet you directly at the University entrance at 6pm. You know I'm coming back on Sunday morning. Will that be ok ? *

" Ommmmmmggggggggg !!!! Yayyyyyy. Now we need to get you a dress. A nice pretty and sexy one. " I need to stop these idiots from screaming or else I'm gonna turn deaf soon.
