Ezekiel Pov

" Your a wonderful person Ezekiel." My mother says as she lovingly strokes my cheek.

" So you'll make me cookies then ?" She laughs and I join her.

" Of course I will." A deep breath escapes her parted lips. " Promise me Ezekiel you'll be a good man. "

" I promise and I'll become a doctor and then I'll cure everyone." I said enthusiastically.

" I'll be the proudest mother then." She says fondly giving me a kiss.

" Yeah mum and then I'll treat dad's wounds. He won't need to go the hospital every time he's hurt."

Her calm demeanor changed into a face full of worry. Before could as her why we heard gunshots. My mother panicked and she pulled me in her arms and held me tightly, protecting my 5 year old self.

All our gaurds were on the floor now covered in their own blood. A man walks up to us. My mother crouched on the floor with me in her arms. I can't see his face and raises his gun to my mother's level. He pulls the trigger, I hear the bang and I wake up.

I'm absolutely startled. Another nightmare. I can barely breathe, I'm drenched in sweat. The air conditioner is on but my body is so hot right now. A cold shower is what I need. I look at the clock, it's just 6 in the morning.

I go to my washroom, remove my clothes and stand under the shower. The cold water slowly does it's magic. My body relaxes. I step out of the shower and get dressed in simple blue jeans and a white shirt. I wear my watch, put on my shoes and head outside. While driving I decid to go to the university and surprise Aria today. It's been three days since I last saw her. No wonder why I was so stressed. I drive to the nearest flower shop and pick up a bouquet of orchids for her. I place them on the car seat and I start driving again.

I reach the university and it's already 9am. It is pretty far from where I live. I park my car and walk in. Students and teachers greet me but my eyes search for someone else.

There she is. Near the lockers looking frustrated. Beside her are her friends with the same boring expression and then there's this guy. Wait guy ??

Wtf is he now ?

I walk a little closer to hear what they're talking about. Look I have no issues with Aria having guy friends. It's her life and it's her right to live it according to her choices but then again not everyone is your friend. I don't remember seeing this guy before.

" Aria I really like you." Wth did he just say ??

" Look Flint you seem like a nice person but I can't accept your love." Istg I'm getting jealous.

" Why don't you give us chance ? I swear were going to be the best couple in the entire university." Couple ? Is he being serious ? My fists are so right to make now that they've turned white.

" Look I really can't. Please try to understand I'm sure you'll find someone better. " She says.

" But I don't want anyone else. I just want you. " I can't tolerate this shit anymore. I walk towards them but Aria's yelling halts my movements.

" Why don't you understand I'm already dating someone ?" Aria yells at him.

" Are you ? Where is he then ?" That guy says.

" You....just shut up ! I've been telling you since yesterday Flint that I'm not interested in you and I don't give a shit about you or whether you believe that I have a boyfriend or not. " Okay Aria's seriously getting angry now. Not that I'm not.

" And I know it too that your just playing to hard to get." He says something like that again and I'm going to punch the shit out of him.

" You....I don't even care who are."
