Tea

Aria Pov

" Wait why don't you come inside ?"

He turned and looked at me. " I mean it's raining very heavily. There's a storm and your completely drenched. You've already done so much for me how can I let you go like this. Come inside I'll give you my dad's old shirt and I'll make us some tea. "

" I don't want to be a burden love. You are already tired, why don't you go and rest. Don't worry about me I'll be fine. " He's so sweet.

" No ! You come inside this instant or I'll come outside and get drenched. Then we'll both fall sick. " I threatened him.

He chuckled and came inside. " Ok I'm going anywhere but please don't get mad at me. "

Suddenly we both sneezed together. We started laughing.

" See I told you you'll fall sick."

" You sneezed as well my love."

Finally we went in.

" Your house is beautiful love and you've kept it so clean. " He complimented.

"Thank you." I smiled at him.

I gave him one of dad's shirts. He was in one of the guest rooms taking a warm shower right now. How gorgeous he must be looking right now. Wait ! Wth am I thinking ? Anyways I had already showered and changed into comfy and warm loungewear.

I was making tea right now and I had lot the fireplace. The house was warm and cosy now and the scented candles I lit made the house smell heavenly. It smelled of lavender. The storm had turned much worse now. I made some cookies, chocolate chip, my favourite. The cookies were in baking in the oven and I was standing near the window chewing a piece of Toblerone looking at the storm. How would he go back in such weather.

I get someone's presence behind me. I turned around to find Ezekiel. He had changed now he was in my dad's shirt and tracks. His hair was slightly wet because of the shower and he smelled so fresh. He looked so tempting. I shouldn't be thinking like this. He isn't even mine.

" What are you looking at my love ?" He asked.

" The weather has turned much worse. I'm afraid how will you go home ? " I told him.

" We can worry about later. I can smell something really amazing right now. "

" Omg I forgot about the cookies !" I rushed to the kitchen, luckily they weren't burnt. They were just perfect.

I placed them on a plate and heated the tea and poured it into two mugs. I took them to the living room.

Ezekiel was seated comfortably on the couch enjoying the warmth of the fireplace and looking at the book I was currently reading, Twisted Love.

" You're reading quite an interesting book." He smiled and took the mug of tea I offered him. I sat beside him as I sipped my tea. It instantly calmed my body and filled me with warmth.

He seemed to be enjoying the tea.

" I never knew tea could be so delicious and comforting. I've always had coffee but I think it's time for a change now. " He said.

" Really ? You should definitely have tea. I personally feel it's much better than coffee and more beneficial. " I told him.

He chuckled. " Also I never knew you could cook and bake so well." He told me as he took a bite of the cookie. The cookies were actually very good.

" Thank you I told him. Do you have cold or a headache or something ? You can tell me I'll get you some medicine. "

" No love I'm absolutely fine. The warm shower really helped a lot and now this tea made me feel even better. All my fatigue is gone." He assured me politely.
