I was so stunned when Ezekiel suddenly showed up. I can't even understand what emotions I felt at that time. He seemed really mad at Blaze but he was blaming himself also. When he explained everything to me he was not lying. I could see the sincerity in his eyes and I mean the mafia head was apologizing to me. I was slightly mad at him but the way he spoke....I just forgot everything. My heart told me to believe him and I did. Plus even though I didn't say it but I knew that he would never ditch me.

Anyways he led me inside. My hand firmly wrapped around his arm. Everyone stares at us. Obviously I mean I'm walking in with a) one of the most important trustees of the university b) the most powerful man ; the Russian mafia head and the ceo of several companies and c) every girls dream man, girls literally die to gain his attention and here am I. Clutching on his hand tightly and walking in with him as his partner.

Our friends are sitting in one table together. All of them looking so pretty and I must be looking like a zombie right now.

" Don't worry love you look gorgeous. " Ezekiel smiled at me. Did he just hear my thoughts ?

Enid came to me and hugged me as she looked at Ezekiel and me cautiously " Is everything alright ?"

" Yes. Absolutely fine." Ezekiel replied.

We stared at each other.

" Ok guys sit down ."

We sat down and people were chatting and some dancing. Ezekiel got me a cup of tea. God knows from where and how did he arrange that but it surely made me feel better. All our friends were gossiping together while I quitely sipped my tea and Ezekiel stared at me. I felt like he wanted to tell me something but he was hesitating. He suddenly grabbed my free hand and made me turn towards him gently. I placed my teacup on the table paying full attention to him now.

" Can I ask you something Aria ? "

" Sure go ahead. "

" There's something I want to tell you. I've been dying to tell you and I can only do that in a secluded place with us. Just us. "

I nodded wanting him to continue.

" So if it's not to much the can I pick you up after university tom. See I think it's perfect tomorrow because by the time your classes end it'll be around 5pm so I'll pick you up and directly take you to the place I want to. You'll love it btw. "

I took a moment to register everything in my head. What was it that he wanted to tell me exclusively ? Forget being alone, he wanted a secluded place and he says that I'll love it. I was about to reply when the Dj called everyone to dance and this dance decided who was the best couple.
Everyone started dancing. It was a soft slow dance and the atmosphere was so...... romantic. I have danced with him before but I don't why I still feel nervous. Everytime he touches me I have this weird sensation.

The intensity of the touch makes me wanna run away while the other part of me begs for it.

" So should I pick you up tomorrow ? " He asks again and I finally come back to reality.

" I don't see anything wrong in it. " I blurt out timidly.

" Is that yes ?" He asks excitedly.

" Yes. " I tell him.

He suddenly smiles. A proper smile and he looks adorable. This guy should smile more often. We continued dancing, at this point I knew he gave no shit about the best couple neither was I. We were too lost in each other. The Dj's voice startled us .

" Alright alright...Now we are going to announce the the best couple of the evening. They are truly a perfect match and meant for each other as said by our judges. "
