(spiders pov)

at least we were having a ceremony.. an evening where we mourn her disappearance and pray to Eywa that she is alive and well.

Neytiri had been alone all day, not bothering to care for kids.

she was out, near Eywa. connecting to her as me, neteyam and loak visited her favourite lake.

"i feel some sort of connection to her when in the water.." neteyam spoke.

"you do?" i asked as he nodded.

"i do too.." lo'ak spoke.

"maybe it's a na'vi thing for you two.." i said, slightly discouraged.

"monkey boy don't say that.." neteyam spoke as loak interrupted.

"SHHH" he spoke, putting one ear under the water.

neteyam did the same thing, and so did i.

our jaws dropped.

"her heartbeat.." neteyam spoke.

"lo'ak.." i said, noticing he had already started crying.

"it's okay.. she's alive.." neteyam spoke.

"how do we know it's her?" i asked.

"i recognise her heartbeat.." neteyam spoke.

"how?"

he gave me an obvious look.

"child hood monkey boy... keep up" he said.

"what- were you guys like, sleeping on eachothers chests or what-" i said as a joke as i was interrupted.

"yes.." they said in unison as my smile dropped.

"ohh.." i said, awkwardly.

we spent our evening relaxing, but that was until neteyam and loak both freaked out at the same time on the hammock.

there was almost nothing to do on Eywa without Rektiyah, although she never talked to us.

"what's going on?" i asked as they both gasped suddenly.

neteyam touched his pulse point on his neck, "REKTIYAH?" he shouted as his eyes filled with hope.

"can you hear us?" lo'ak asked after touching his pulse point too.

their hope had gone away after 10 seconds.

"what happened?" i asked, confused and annoyed.

"we heard-"

"rektiyah"

my eyes had already watered.

"spider.." neteyam said, leaning closer to me.

"was there something going on between you two?" he asked.

"what? no-" i said as loak stayed serious at what he heard.

"i feel a connection-" i spoke as loak immediately shushed us.

"are we going to just ignore what we heard?" he said to neteyam as his face went all serious.

"what did she say?" i asked cautiously.

the two navis looked at one another, giving eachother a sad look.

"come on.." i said, "tell me.."

"she said.." lo'ak spoke .

neteyam interrupted, " come down to me quaritch, i'll kill you with the throw of one arrow" neteyam said.

"what?" i said.

loaks eyes scanned my face.

i didn't know how to feel.

i didn't know WHAT to feel.

that's my dad.

and i know he's not a good guy here on pandora.

but if i do happen to go back, i won't ever talk to him again.

yet again, my dad hated loak and neteyam.. and their family.

but i wasn't apart of their family.

i was just there.

but i had a stronger bond with them than i did with my father.

my mind went into a spiral of emotions; the boys looked my way as my eyes fixed on the hammock below us.

"are you.. okay?" lo'ak asked as neteyam watched.

i nodded in response, not taking my eyes off of the hammock below.

but rektiyah was in pain.

and she must have been fighting.

for us, the na'vi. for pandora, the place i liked more than earth.

i think it took a while to process the fact that i can leave pandora any second and never come back, but rektiyah could die and never come back..

"it's okay.." neteyam said.

(rektiyahs pov)

"come down to me quaritch, i'll kill you with the throw of one arrow" i smiled as i spoke.

there was no reply on the other line.

until..

"sure about that?"

i smiled at the response.

"yes, you pussy"  i replied, laughing into the microphone.

"this time i'll come down and end you" he said

my smile dropped as i let go of my pulse point on my neck, gulping as i looked up in the sky.

he will be here soon.. i thought.

he will come before i know it, and he knows exactly where i am located.

so does norm... but he doesn't care.. does he ?

he must've forgotten about me.

"KAWASI!"  i shouted as my animal came to me from the other side of the island, sticking its tongue.

"'itan're (they're) coming" i said.

the animal slowly put its tongue back into its mouth, making a humming noise as its head tilted to the side.

"Sorry. We kawkrr (need) to fight for pandora, okay?" i spoke, stroking its nose as it watched my eyes.

"This battlefield will fko kerusey ( one day)  be inhabited, ulte (and) my name will be written all over the trees of this island txokefyaw (if) we fight." i spoke to Kawasi as he watched.

"get ready" i said, standing to my feet as i ran into the small forest, gathering resources.

i grabbed as many branches as possible, saying Eywa name each time i had taken a branch from her.

she would help me get through the fight.

"Eywa.." i spoke as i cut the branch to a sharper edge.

it had gotten to the point where it was dark, yet i was still making arrows out of my branches i collected.

my nerves grew, but at least i would know when Quaritch is coming.

his lights would be dominant in the sky, and the wind would blow harder.

"destroyer.." i said to myself as Kawasi ran to me from a distance.

i jumped a little at his figure, he looked much bigger.

"KAWASI" i shouted at him as i put my hand out in front of me.
he stopped right in front of me with alarmed eyes.

i looked at them, slowly starting to realise what may be going on.

i grabbed all of my arrows and put them on my back, as i observed the empty area of the island.

a large cloud of blinding lights grew larger onto the island until eventually, a massive bang was heard.
