He heard footsteps coming closer and suddenly his heart began to beat faster.
"Vee ! Hey."
"Mark. You look beautiful." He said with a smile and adoring gaze.
"You look handsome." The younger answered.
It's been two weeks since the boy accepted his feelings.
That day at the sushi restaurant, they agreed to go out on a date but since Vee had to work and Mark had exams the whole time, it took them nearly two weeks.
But today's the day !
"Let's go." Vee said with the biggest smile and motioned him to step aside so he could close the door for him like a real gentleman.
"Where are we going today ?" Mark asked smiling.
"You'll see soon."
"Ow, you don't wanna tell me ?"
"No, it's a surprise."
They stepped out of the elevator and walked towards the door when some woman stopped them .
"Nong Mark ?!"
"P'Mae, hello."
"Are you for real right now ?" She asked with an angry expression and pointed towards Vee, who stood there, not daring to say a word.
>She's angry because she thinks I replaced Nuea..< Mark thought and was about to explain.
"How dare you bringing a handsome boy over and don't tell me ?!" She finally said, confusing both boys.
"Hello dear, I'm P'Mae. I work at the reception over there."
"Hello P'Mae. I'm Vee."
"Oh no need to be so stiff. I don't bite dear. It's nice to meet you. Are you Marks friend ?"
"Uhm.. Yes. I'm his senior."
"Oh ! It's always nice to have a good relationship with his P's."
"Actually P'Mae.." Mark began.
Vee's heart was beating fast.
He thought he said something wrong.
"We're going out on a date."
The womans face went blank before her eyes widened and she began to cheer.
"Oh my lovely Mark ! I'm so happy for you ! Please treat him right nong Vee."
The baffled man nodded and looked over to her.
"I..I will." He answered.
Mark looked a bit helpless, amusing P'Mae.
"Oh come on, I was joking earlier. I'm not mad at you Mark."
"You scared me !"
"I know !" She giggled.
"Well have fun on your date boys. Vee, it was nice to meet you. Mark, you have to tell me everything when you're back."
"I will."
The boys waved at her and left the building.
Mark looked for Vee's bike but couldn't find it.
"Over there." Vee said as he realized what the younger was looking for.
"I can't..?"
Vee walked over to some car and stood in front of it.
"Tadaa ! I took my fathers car for today."
