Wanheda Part One (1,2)

Tyra quickly changed herself, packing her Skaikru clothes in a backpack hidden among the thick foliage facing the sky people's settlement.

It was a comfort to wear her warrior clothes again, she didn't mind wearing the other clothes, but it was tiring to pretend to be someone she was not, even if she spent most of the time around Bellamy, it was exhausting to her.

She was more used to the cold warrior and found more comfort in it rather than acting out how she really felt and expressing it all. Tyra was still working out on how she had hardwired her brain for all those years.

Tyra made sure to stick to the sector David guarded while she was in her warrior regalia, even if his guard at the gate had already finished. But his sector tended to be less hostile when they saw a Grounder, only keeping her in their sights rather than straight up attempting to shoot her or keeping their guns trained on her.

"Tyra?" She stopped applying her war paint halfway through, a line of yet to fall goop crossing her eyes.

"Octavia." She pressed herself as close as possible to the fence without getting electrocuted, Octavia halfway through braiding her hair close to her scalp.

"What are you doing here? You know Bellamy's leaving on a scouting mission, right?" Tyra continued applying her face paint, while Octavia kept with her own activities.

"I know. I'm going with you." Octavia finished her braid, beginning to take slow steps in a particular direction, while Tyra followed from her own side of the fence.

"I didn't think my brother would invite you."

"He didn't. I invited myself." Octavia laughed joyously. Having had more and more conversations with Tyra, she had come to discover she was quite fun in her own sense of way.

"Bellamy must be thrilled."

"Absolutely ecstatic." The two met eyes before Octavia burst out laughing and Tyra cracked a smirk, her arms resting behind her back while Octavia kept practically cackling.

"You need a horse or are you planning on riding in the rover?" Tyra tilted her head to the side, taking one last step before stopping completely.

"You can get me an extra horse?" Octavia shrugged, also stopping on her own side.

"Anything for my future sister-in-law," Tyra rolled her eyes in mock annoyance.

"You're blushing!" Tyra didn't even bother denying it, it'd be like denying a clearly visible wound. A useless feat.

"I'll take the horse, thank you."

"Meet you outside the gate then."

Tyra waited for a while sitting on a rock while carving some of her arrows. She had decided to begin combining normal wooden arrows with only a sharpened tip, along with her usual with the stone tips. After all, some arrows needed to be used only as a distraction, not as anything truly harmful.

That was until she heard the sky people's main gate buzz open, a black and grey metal vehicle riding past with Octavia at the front on a dark bay horse, dragging a similar grey horse behind her by the reigns.

Tyra immediately stood up and tucked her arrow back in its holster, beginning to run toward the group, while they slowed down as they approached her.

"Don't stop!" Whoever was driving the rover listened to Tyra's instructions and sped up while she ran by their side, trying to catch up to the horse trailing behind Octavia.
