(A/N quick thing, I'm going to write this chapter more 3rd person omniscient [I.e. outside perspective but still see thoughts]. Comment to let me know if this is better or worse.)

Wednesday's thoughts:

It was the next day, Enid has stayed in Wednesday's room again last night. Wednesday was struggling with this, though. Her roommates closeness was growing on her, and she was not ready to face the music yet.

Both girls were up, having already had breakfast and once again both denying the closeness at which they woke up. Almost like Wednesday and Enid were magnets to each other. Drifting closer within their own unconsciousness.

It disturbed Wednesday and not in the way she liked. She knew she needed to get to the bought of these feelings, but to do so, she must be free of the bubbly girl first.

"Enid." She spoke up from her desk. Enid was on her phone, likely scrolling through what she called 'TikTok' it sent a shudder down Wednesday's spin. 'Horrendous,' she thought to herself at the sound coming from the phone.

She glanced over at her own technological death trap. She'd refused to open it since getting the threatening messages. Not yet ready to face what might come.

Enid hums in response, only half looking towards her. "I think you should take some time to explore the house today." Wednesday stood effortlessly from her desk to face the girl who had paused all movement.

It was obvious that Enid was not a big fan of going around the house by herself, especially with all the dangerous places within the corridors.

"I assure you, with your sunny personality, you will only find the nicest rooms in the house. Just stay away from the basement and the back corridors." Wednesday said in an attempt to calm her friend.. she shudders at that thought. She could feel her feelings growing for the girl. Slowly then quickly.

Wednesday knew from the moment they hugged all of her life that it would change. Looking at the girl now, the girl layed out on her bed, effortlessly invading her personal space yet.. Wednesday felt no reason to rid herself of Enid's presence. Quite like a leech that steals your blood, except Enid.. well, she brought a comfort, a comfort Wednesday could not yet decipher.

"Okay, Wednesday." Enid was standing now. "I'll go explore, but if I get hurt, I'm totally gonna wolf out on you." She gleamed at Wednesday. Enid was clearly still ecstatic about transforming and now unlocking all the other abilities that came with her werewolf-ness.

Wednesday, unsurprisingly, had been researching all about her friends, 'disgusting' she thought again hesitating over the word friend. She had researched all about Enid's werewolf abilities. What it meant to fully transform and become one with the beast inside of her. Only after a shift could they be unlocked.

The most devastating ability of them all, well Wednesday had decided that was the hearing. Enid could hear at an obviously super human level. Which meant Wednesday and Thing needed her out of the room to talk.

And Wednesday desperately needed to talk to Thing. Rather, she liked to admit it or not.

The second worst part of Enid wolfing out was that she now knew Enid would be finding a mate. Now, through all the books she read, the info on mates was not at all clear. What she could understand was that it was up to the werewolf to find and choose the person for them. Then up to their chosen mate to either accept or reject them.

Wednesday shook herself from her thought as Enid clicked the door shut. Now was not the time for thinking.

"Thing." She said, looking around the room for him.
