(A/N, quote above is a personal quote from me!)

*Time skip about a week, that makes it January in the story!*

Wednesday's POV:

Enid had gotten better quickly, super human healing, or something like that.

Wednesday had found no way to make Enid remember that fateful night.

Wednesday had begun to wonder if she really wanted Enid to remember. Maybe it was better this way.

The whole entire plan had been ruined by those stupid wolves.

But that meant she could do something different. Better even. Because Enid deserved everything.

Enid had been so apologetic since the attack happened. Feeling like it was all her fault, worried Wednesday's parents would be mad.

They were not even remotely upset. They were actually excited. It had been a long time since a battle played out. It was all Gomez was talking about.

Wednesday shook her head to rid herself of all of the thoughts. She had been sitting in front of her typewriter for the last twenty minutes. It was useless. She could not focus.

She was now constantly thinking about Enid's lips on her own. It was a new kind of curse. To remember the feeling of something that someone else does not even remember.

How could Enid of forgotten that moment?

Wednesday knew much about the brain. How it could keep someone from remembering something if they were not strong enough to handle it.

Why was Enid unable to remember? Was it that terrible?

Wednesday slammed her hand against the desk. Abrumptly standing and turning away, she was done thinking these ridiculous thoughts.

Thing tapped aggressively at her as she stood

"What was that for?"

"Leave me be."

*Enid's POV*

Enid has been doing a lot of extra running since she was allowed out of the "hospital" room in the mansion.

She told Wednesday it was to keep her fit. That wasn't entirely true..

She was terrified of letting anything happen to her mate, so she patrolled the property twice daily. Once in the morning, once in the evening. Before Wednesday was awake, she would already be gone.

It killed her a little bit to lie, but Wednesday would just say she's overreacting to everything. She wasn't. She had no idea what happened after she ran into the woods.

It made her worried her family was still lurking, waiting to find her again. She wanted.. no needed.. no.

Lived to protect Wednesday.

She had barely broken a sweat as she made it back to the front of the mansion. She hadn't seen anything suspicious, so she let go of a breath she's almost always holding now.

She knows she's forgotten something important. She just can't pinpoint it. Wednesday refuses to tell her what happened. Afraid giving Enid the answers might cause a mental break.

Enid had nearly screamed at Wednesday that night. She was so over being in the dark about her own life! That's when the running had begun.

If she couldn't know what happened, she'd make sure nothing else could happen.

Enid was in the kitchen now, chugging down some water.

"How are things out there?" Morticia spoke from behind the young wolf. This was also a part of the routine.
