Naruto leaned against the wall with a stupid smile on his face. Ramaru, Saya, and Yuno were also on the porch just looking at him.

"Alright, what happened?" Ramaru said finally not being able to take it anymore. "Been at this for three days. You're not even in a fight!"

"Ah...but it was quite the experience." Naruto said taking in a breath. Unconsciously he licked his lips a little.

"You high? Those shrooms aren't good for you." Yuno said looking to see if there was dilation in his eyes.

"No."

"Then what is it? You're acting like Ramaru when he lost his virginity." Saya said getting Yuno to blush and Ramaru to push her off her chair.

"I kissed someone. Well, we kissed a lot..."

"Bro your pillow don't count!" Ramaru said waving him off.

"Oh I assure you, it wasn't my pillow. But my god she'd make a great one..." Naruto said with a smirk.

"Hmm...who's the lucky Uchiha?" Ramaru said tilting his head.

Naruto choked a second then pushed himself off the wall. "I should get going."

"Dude, you're not even going to go fight...oh shit. No...Naruto my guy, please don't tell me it isn't what I think!"

"Maybe? I don't know what you're thinking."

"Please tell me you did not go make out with a Senju..." he said sighing. "What's Madara going to think?"

"Nothing. Because you guys will say nothing. Besides...it's not likely to work out unless this war ends."

Saya stood up pointing at him. "That's why you're sitting out, isn't it!? You want this war to end!"

"Yes and no." He said shrugging. "This fight is over vengeance. I won't allow the clan thats trusted in me be dragged into it. Not anymore. I hoped...that with regime change, it would be different but, they've told me otherwise. It's the least I can do for them."

They all sat quietly at that. Not really knowing how to exactly follow up on that. Still, their friend sure was in love with trouble. That or trouble truly loved him. Depending on how life went, they just might have to call him a pioneer of the world. Always forging his own...troubled path.

Madara was getting so very frustrated. Hashirama, his rival, his oldest and best friend...always found a way to frustratingly stay with him. This Susanoo should have been unbeatable...but no. No...Hashirama just had to create a massive wooden Buddha that was nearly dwarfing his Susanoo. It had a thousand arms behind it, that formed a semicircle. Fists all pointed outwards away from the Buddha.

It was equally so aggravating as it was exciting. The long battle that lasted most of the day came to an end when Madara finally fell to his back. Exhausted. Hashirama was on a knee beside him, so both were exhausted, though in Madara's eyes, Hashirama was better off. He often wondered if this guy ever ran out of chakra. To top it off, Hashirama unveiled a new technique, markings had spread over his face that he never saw before but it made him seem stronger instantly.

Laying on his back, still trying to gather his breath he looked up at Hashirama. "Madara...let's end this."

Naruto appeared practically out of nowhere. He glanced at Tobirama but quickly looked down at Madara. "Never. Your sister killed Izuna. Unless you prove to me your conviction, I won't."

"Then what is it?" Hashirama said smiling.

"Kill Tobirama."

She moved her katana to point down at his heart. "Such gall on this bastard. To hell with that!"
