He just looks at me confused

He just looks at me confused. I raise the gun and aim it at his forehead. He pales. "It gets you killed" I say in my mafia voice and pull the trigger.

Jake yelps, but nothing happens.

I took out the magazine as soon as I took his gun.

I turn to my right to see Blondie and Green Eyes with shocked and confused faces. Salvatore looks almost proud but confused. Alessandro looks like he wants to punch something. Lastly, Matteo looks like he only cares if I'm okay.

That's cute

"You see Jake, that was a lesson." I begin harshly, standing up from the couch and walking over to Salvatore's desk.

I rack the slide to show Salvatore the weapon is unloaded, and pull out the magazine from the waistband of my leggings, being cautious not to reveal any of my scars.

I set the gun and magazine on his desk and give him a smirk. Turning back in Jake's direction, I walk over to him saying "You let your emotions get the best of you."

He looks at me in fear. I continue saying coldly, "I could have killed you. You would be dead. Gone from this world."

I am now standing in front of him, looking him in the eyes. "Do you want to die?" I ask in a serious but empathic tone.

"No" He says full of fear

"Then get your shit together Jake. If something were to happen and you let anger get the best of you, you could die. Do you understand that?" I tell him harshly

"Yes" He replies looking me in the eye

"How old are you Jake?" I ask putting my hands on my hips

"22" He replies

"That's the same age as my brother Elijah. You're too young to die Jake. Think before you react. You keep yourself calm. You can be as angry as you want but don't let it show. You carry a deadly weapon, but you can just as easily be killed as to kill." I say with sincerity

"Do you box?" I ask him questionably

"We have defense training we go through, but I don't, no" He replies regaining his composure

"In boxing if you let your opponent find your weak spots you allow yourself to be used as their personal punching bag. If you let your emotions go, you swing aimlessly and cause more harm to yourself than the other person. Do you see what I'm trying to say?" I tell him emotionlessly
