I awoke in a good attitude, recalling Dimitri's promise to be home by this morning. Suddenly, I felt motivated to get through the day since I had something, or more specifically, someone, to look forward to.

As I stepped out of the shower and got dressed, I felt a sense of anticipation bubbling up inside of me. I knew that my day was going to be great.

With a smile on my face, I opened the door to my bedroom, ready to greet them with their usual cheerfulness.

To my surprise, however, something seemed off. Although both twins were standing at my door, they appeared different today.

Normally, they were both talkative and playful, but today they seemed tense and preoccupied. I couldn't help but feel a twinge of concern as I approached them.

"Hey, what's going on?" I asked, a note of teasing in my voice. "You guys look like you're up to something!"

To my surprise, my playful prodding didn't elicit the usual response. Both twins simply stared ahead blankly, their faces set in neutral expressions. I poked at their sides and ruffled their hair, hoping to get a rise out of them, but they remained unresponsive.

Feeling confused and a bit unsettled, I wondered what could be bothering them. Had something happened that I wasn't aware of? Or were they simply in a bad mood? Whatever the case, I was determined to find out what was going on and help them if I could.

The silence felt suffocating, and I felt my heart sinking lower and lower with each passing second. It was as if a heavy weight had settled in my chest, making it hard to breathe.

I couldn't shake the feeling that I had somehow done something wrong, even though I couldn't imagine what it might be.

Finally, unable to bear the tension any longer, I spoke up. "Did I do something wrong?" I asked tentatively, my voice barely above a whisper.

To my dismay, neither of the twins responded. It was as if they were locked in some kind of private conversation that I wasn't privy to.

My mind raced with possibilities, each more alarming than the last. Had I said something to offend them? Had I unwittingly hurt their feelings in some way? I don't remember doing anything wrong.

As I looked from one twin to the other, searching for any sign of recognition, I noticed something unsettling in Nico's expression.

His normally carefree face was twisted in...... anger, and his teeth were clenched tightly together. I took a step back, suddenly feeling a pang of fear. What was going on here? And why was Nico so angry?

Feeling dejected and helpless, I turned to my left and saw the maid walking into the room with a tray of food for me but I simply had no appetite to eat. All I wanted was to know what was going on with my best friends, but they continued to ignore me, their faces stoic and unresponsive.

"You should eat something," Rico said uninterested, as the maid set the tray down on the table beside me.

I bit my lip, my eyes filling with tears as I shook my head. "No, not until you tell me what I did wrong," I said, my voice trembling with emotion.

But Ricco and Nico remained silent, their expressions unyielding. I felt a sense of betrayal wash over me. How could they do this to me? How could they shut me out like this? The tears flowed freely down my cheeks now, and I wiped them away with the back of my hand.

"I don't understand," I whispered, my voice barely audible. "Why won't you talk to me? What did I do to deserve this?" But my words fell on deaf ears, and both men simply stared straight ahead, ignoring me as if I wasn't even there.
