KS snuggled into HM in sleep and HM chuckled

HM (in mind to herself): dekho toh kaise ekdum bachhi ki tarah chipki hai humse, itne kam samay mei itna acha rishta ban Gaya hai humara, sahi kaha tha tumne, shayad koi connection hai humara.... humari shehzaadi bhi aise hi humko pakad ke jakad ke soti thi... Next morning HM woke up at 4 and gave a kiss on KS's forehead

HM: uth jaiye Karishma

KS just smiled in her sleep feeling the warmth of HM's presence and snuggled more into her hugging her

HM: bachaa, uth jaao, training ka time ho raha hai na

KS: bas 2 minute aur jijii

HM: roz ka hai... Uff... Acha hum fresh hoke aa rhe hai, tab tak uth jana

KS: okayy

HM freshened up and came back to find KS still sleeping

HM (louder than before): Karishma, uthiye, late ho rhi hai

KS: jiji bas 2minutes aur naa

HM: ab agar aap nahi uthi toh thappad se uthayenge hum

KS woke up with a jerk hesitantly

KS: nhi nhi.... Uth gye hum

HM: fresh hoke aayi, fir chalte hai

KS (hugged HM): good morning jiji

HM: good morning bacha

Then KS got freshened up and they went down by 4:30 for the extra training. HM took her training till 4:55 thereby giving her a 5minutes break before starting with the actual training. The candidates saw HM taking KS's punishment training so they were already talking among themselves in whispers:

Candidate 1 (C1): bhai ye KS ki punishment training coach le Rahi hai

C2: bechari KS yaar... Ek toh vaise hi chhoti hai, uparse kaha fas gyi ye coach ke saath

C1: haina...

C3: pata nhi kaise room bhi share kar rhi hogi is Hitler ke saath

C2: vahi

C1: no doubt Haseena ma'am kaafi achi trainer and teacher hai, par yaar no one can deny the fact ki vo sabse strict hai

C2: sahi baat, KS ko vo room nahi dena chahiye tha

C3: ab toh ye gayi ek hafte ke liye, khair....

All 3 said in unison: hume kya

Soon all the candidates arrived and the normal training started. Since KS had been training from 4:30 she was more tired in comparison to others and hence she was making more mistakes there by getting strokes of the sticks. She tried her best to avoid those.
In the morning KS would have to do the extra training and in the evening the other 4 seniors. KS was improving day by day, she would somehow manage it for 2½ hours instead of 2 hours and lie on her bed after that taking rest. Every night, HM would massage KS's leg without letting her know (kyuki bhai jitni bhi strict ho, behen toh Dil se maana hai na KS ko) but one night when KS was not fully asleep but sleepy, she noticed HM massaging her legs and felt genuinely blessed.

Like this, there came the last day of the punishment training. That day HM was really tough and harsh on KS. After the normal training was over. She told all the students to remain and called KS and the other 4 students in front. She made them stand in a line facing the other students who were already in their usual position.

HM: for the last day of the punishment, 5 of you will get 5 strokes on your each arm (she said showing them a stick)

All 5 of them looked scared

HM: on my part, I'll give you the strokes and on your part you will try to control and not make noise or wince, clear?

The 4 seniors said 'yes' but KS nodded

HM: KS words

KS: um... Clear coach

HM nodded and started with the seniors. On every stroke there was some or the other sound made by the seniors. Then came KS's turn. She did not make any noise for the first 4 strokes but at the last one, KS couldn't take it more so she winced in pain

KS: ouchh (she got disbalanced and was about to fall but before that HM caught her)

HM: dhyan se

KS nodded

KS: thank you

HM turned to the other candidates who were standing quietly and observing the scenario and she said

HM: now y'all will answer a few of my questions.... When did the training start and end for these 4?

Candidates (C): 5am to 7am

HM: and for KS

C: 4:30am to 7am

HM: so accordingly, who should be more tried?

C: KS

HM: but who took the pain easily?

C: KS

HM: conclusion, Who is stronger?

C: KS

(All this while the questions went on KS was looking at HM while the seniors bowed their heads in somewhat embarrassment)

HM: correct, hence, who would like to share the lesson of the day?

C1: practice makes one strong

HM: not complete, anyone else?

HM asked one of those 4

Senior 1: never be confident

HM: dhatt, KS your call?

KS: umm... Coach I think both under confidence and over confidence leads in vain

HM: elaboration KS

KS: coach sabse pehle toh we should never judge a book by it's cover. Our enemy might be younger and might seem weaker by size but ultimately they might turn out to be stronger, isliye kabhi bhi overconfident hoke samne vale ko weak nahi samajhna chahiye....

HM nodded

KS: secondly, on the other way round our enemy might seem elder and stronger by weight and size par they might end up not being very strong. So we should not be under confident. Instead we should give our best without thinking about the age and size of the opponent. The winner ultimately is the one who has worked upon herself/himself. Toh coach self confidence zaruri hai... Over and under confident hona end mei problematic hi prove hota hai

HM: aur?

KS: aurr (in mind to herself) ab kya baaki reh gyaa

KS: um... Coach aur Sahi humesha sahi hi rehta hai without considering any other factors. Galat ka sath dena bhi utna hi galat hai... Aur doshi banata hai

HM: exactly, correct KS, well done, is that clear to everyone?

C: yes coach

HM: with this, as the lesson of the week, we'll end the session and meet tomorrow again. Okay?

C: yes coach

HM: dismiss

C: Jai Hind

HM: Jai Hind
