HM here bursted out laughing but soon composed herself on the Lady's look.

Lady coughed fakely

HM (interrupted): Acting, abhinaye matlab acting (said HM suppressing her smile)

Lady: tum chhoti ho na, thode din humare saath rahogi, sab samajh jaogi

KS nodded still being confused, HM then decided to interrupt and do the introduction

HM: ahh, chhoti, ye hai Pushpa jii, humare thaane ki head constable cum counselling expert

PJ: tumhe dikkat hai? (Asked PJ being still annoyed about the dancing comment🤣)

HM (mumbled to herself): kuch kr haseena, Varna ye dono toh ladh padhengi

HM: uhm.. areh vo inko ek case ke silsile mei yaha aana padha, toh humne suggest Kiya ki ek hafte humare saath hi rahe...

KS nodded understanding the matter

KS: vaise maasi jii

PJ glared at her and fake coughed

PJ: areh humari twacha se toh humari Umar ka pata hi nahi chalta, humari umar ye Haseena se kuch 2-3 saal hi badi hogi

HM widened her eyes and fake coughed

HM: ahem 😳

PJ looked at HM and changed her sentence

PJ: matlab, 5-6 saal

HM: ahem ahem

This time PJ glared at HM and HM avoided her look😂 KS understood the situation so she spoke up

PJ: acha acha

PJ again peeped to check whether KS was there or in the room, on being convinced that KS was in the room she continued

PJ: 3 hafte pehle uska kidnap hua tha, jab gundo ne parents ka number pucha usse firoti ke liye toh usne bataya ki parents, family kuch nhi hai, vo hume fasana nahi chahti thi isliye humara naam nhi liya... vo toh hume doubt hua jab isne calls nhi uthaye, hostel gye, vaha nhi mili, tab pata chala ki lapata hai 2 din se....

HM rubbed PJ's back to calm her a bit

HM: Aram se

PJ: vo toh humne ise time se khoj liya, Varna vo kidnappers ise p... Prosititution house mei bechne vale the (saying this PJ's voice cracked and she hugged HM, her eyes were also teary)

PJ smiled at this and was relieved

PJ: But vo abhi bahar gyi hai, keh rhi thi ki uski koi dost hai tumhare academy mei... Usse Milne Jaa rhi, surprise karegi...

HM: acha, chalo koi nhi..... Jab aayegi tab dekhenge... Abhi aap bhi rest kr lijiye, vaise bhi kalse kaam hai aapko, ek hi week ke liye aayi hai...

PJ nodded with a smile and went to a room. KS came out and HM told her about PJ's daughter. HM did not say all the details so as to not hit on any sensitive nerve of KS.

KS then sat down to watch TV while HM went to freshen up. After a while HM came out to find KS asleep on the sofa while some boxing match was being played on the TV.

HM smiled at it but also nodded her head in disbelief. She switched off the TV, covered KS with a duvet and herself sat beside her and adjusted KS in a manner that KS's head was on her lap.

HM caressed her hairs and herself closed her eyes as she recalled an incident
