"Maaa! Maaaaa! Maaa..." Manik turned to stop seeing Nandini glare at him
"Th only person that can here you is me and Manas. Manas is sleeping so keep it down" Nandini said
"Go to your room then" Manik pointed and gestured her to close the door
"Maa nahi hai ghar par." Nandini was going to close the door when he asked her "Kyu? Kaha gayi hai woh?"
"Pata nahi" Nandini shrugged
"But mujhe tie..." Manik stopped showing her the tie
"Tie hai bandhani hai?" she asked and he nodded embarassed
"I can do it" she said walking to him. He gave her the tie. She took it and looked at him
"May I?" she asked gesturing and asking of she can touch him. Manik heart skipped. For years girls have thrown themselves on him. She was first, first to ask permission to touch him. He nodded, holding back a smile. Nandini started to make a tie
"Is it something important?" She asked. She saw Manik frowing at her "You are wearing new suit" she said
"I have a merger to announce today" he said and she nodded. She was busy with her work that she did observe Manik gazing at her. Her face, her eyes, her lips, her fingers that made tie.
He put his hand around her waist making Nandini look at him stunned. He leaned close to her. She saw her breaths get deep and felt her heartbeat get fast
"Sleep with me" he said and Nandini looked at him shocked
"What!" she asked him
"Spend a night with me, will you?" he asked and he saw Nandini's face change in rage. She came out of the hold and punch Manik's jaw hard.
"Ho gaya" Nandini said neating her tie and Manik stepped back quickly. She smiled at him and that's when he realised he imagined that. He shook his head removing the thoughts out of his head. He had decided on staying away from her. But hell he needs to be more control on himself.
"Thanks" he said taking his coat and leaving

"Manik" Neyonika called as Manik was leaving for office "Breakfast" she asked. Manik looked at his father and nodded no and left. Nandini observed this and she continued to feed Manas smashed apple

"Don't be like khadus Manik ok baby" Nandini was talking to Manas. They were sitting in the back lawn near pool. Manik stood behind her. Manas looked at him
"Huh how he is. Can't he sees his parents hurt? Your Appa was not like this ok. He loved our Amma Appa very much. Though he hurt Amma Appa once when he got Mukti home, marrying her but then he never did that again. Not on purpose" Nandini said and Manas looked at Manik
"And you think I do it on purpose? It makes me happy?" Manik said sitting beside her on the mat. Nandini nodded.
"You feel for them na. Did you know what they do to hoir brother?" he asked her and Nandini looked at him with frown.
"Dad made our security hit him" Manik told her. She looked stunned
"Dad locked Mukti in another room for days. We didn't even knew she had eloped. If only he had handled it differently" Manik said and Nandini stared at him.
"Parents apne baccho ko protect hi karte hai. Haan galti hoti hai unn se" she said "But your Dad regrets. He does. Alot infact" she told him "He has lost Mukti already. Don't make him lose you" she said and Manik looked at her
