Nandini walked with Manik. A guard was carrying their luggage and Manik was walking, talking on his phone. Nandini was walking behind him holding her jacket. She was looking around. Manik felt her falling back and turned. Nandini walked to him. He waited for her to come to her and as she reached him, he put hand around her shoulder and walked with her while talking on the phone. "Khanna ji main aap file ready rakhiye main kal aa kar dekh leta hu... Aap..." Manik stopped seeing Nandini pout "Bhook lagi hai?" he asked her and she nodded. "Aap kal sube ki meeting schedule kariye and make sure..." Manik kept talking on the phone and Nandini saw they were heading to Starbucks
"Manik" she said and he looked at her "Mujhe McD jana hai" she said pointing to McDonald's. Manik nodded and started to go to that way.
"Order karo I'll come" he said and before she asks what he wants he left taking to Mr Khanna. Nandini stood there standing thinking of what to order. While thinking that she started to chew the hem of the arms of her sweat shirt that she was wearing.
"Hi" she heard and Nandini turned to see a Caption (pilot) standing there in his uniform and he had his bag. Nandini admired the guy in uniform, like not checking out but just looking at him.
"Yes" she said
"This is for you" he said giving her a vanilla muffin with chocolate chip. Nandini looked at ghe muffin and then him
"No, no" she said shaking her hands and he smiled.
"I am not a stalker or something" he clarified "I was waiting for my oder the coffee is yet go come then I saw this pretty lady and wanted to find an excuse to talk to her" he said "this is the excuse" he gestured to the muffin. Nandini looked at him stunned and pointed to herself. The guy nodded yes.
"Thanks" she said taking the muffin
"Caption Mohit Sharma" he said forwarding his hand
"Nandini Mu..." Nandini stopped thinking should she say Murty or Malhotra "...Murty" she said. She was married yes, but she was going to get separated.
"You are very pretty Nandini" Mohit said with a smile
"Thanks" Nandini blushed at the compliment
"Can I buy you anything else?" he asked
"No actually..."
"She has that covered" Nandini was cut by Manik who came and stood by her. Nandini looked at him and Manik smiled at her
"Manik Malhotra" Manik said forwarding hand to Mohit and putting other hand around Nandini's waist.
"Mohit Sharma" Mohit said shaking his hand
"You ordered?" Manik asked her taking his hand back from Mohit and she nodded no pouting. Manik from the coner of his eyes saw Mohit admiring Nandini. He didn't like it. "Toh karo order, you must be famished na?" he said softly to Nandini who nodded. He saw her hair messed so her creased her hairs and put them on right place. Mohit noticed this
"You are her boyfriend?" he asked Manik
"Husband" Manik said giving him a fake smile. He saw Mohit's face fell and felt happy for some reason. Nandini looked at him a bit taken aback.
"Challe Nandini? Ghar par sab wait bhi kar rahe hai na" he said to Nandini and she nodded. She said Thanks and bye to Mohit and went to order. Manik gave a hard look to him and left behind Nandini.
While Nandini was ordering, Manik came and took the muffin from her hands and started to eat it. Nandini looked shocked.
"I am also very hungry" he said eating the muffin with big bites "You want then order one for you or better order blue berry chees cake, theirs is good" Manik said and Nandini nodded, not bothering about the muffin.
