Chapter 1-The city of Beaumont

'Very soon Lil sis'

Danica could not concentrate,she was pacing around the sitting room as her sister sat on the couch. What was her sister telling her?very soon? Like soon? Does she think it's easy to see a man that will love her genuinely?

Danica's sister, Danielle, has always been like a mother to her, supporting her and choosing wisely for her. While her parents on the other hand sign agreements Looking for suitors for her. She is jealous of her sister Danielle because she was never Betrothed to anyone, and Danielle is fully aware of her sister's jealousy. Danielle married for love ,she married the man of her dreams,which is why Danica feels cheated.

'You have no idea what you're saying,Danielle,I'm not ready!I want to marry the man I love and love him freely!But why can't Mum and Dad understand that!?'

'You are twenty Danica,you're no longer a kid,you need a suitor to develop the family's asset ,we have enemies,rivals and people that want to see us go down.'

Danica fumed in despair and left, she knew this conversation was pointless, it has always been like this since she was a child, she believes she's old enough to make certain decisions for herself but she ends up making bad decisions, that is why her parents are bent on making decisions for her, and that is why they've arranged for her to marry the prince of Beaumont.

The city of Beaumont is a small,contemporary city with official buildings,it has been recorded in the history of Beaumont that their cities would develop every decade,and that is why they are well modernized.

Beaumont is very small because of its population,but very beautiful,and even more envied by neighbouring cities . Every young girl in Beaumont is used as an asset to gain wealth into their families .All of the indigenes of Beaumont are rich in many things ,that all of the people of lower classes are hardly noticed,and one of them,is the beautiful Jane walker,the secret lover of the Prince Johannes Lancelot of Beaumont.

The prince is one very popular person in the city because everyone is aware that he is getting engaged and his father ,The Almighty King Lancelot has been looking for suitors for his son,not knowing that his son is secretly courting a commoner.

There is a festival in the city happening today and the prince will tarry around the city to greet all the maidens as a show of respect for their beauty.It has been their culture ever since time and in the premise of that,he will get a noble wife to marry.

Now this is the issue,he is to marry the daughter's born out of nobility not the commoners so as to acquire wealth into the royal home.The prince is not interested in any maiden of Beaumont but only his Jane.And no one is aware of that ,so he secretly goes to visit her sometimes .

Jane is a beautiful daughter of a Delivery Driver.Her mother works as a Janitor in the hospital,a middle-aged blonde woman,none of her parents are aware of the secret relationship between their daughter and the prince.

'Your Grace,The King made mention of visiting the Dukes before going elsewhere.'his personal guard Raymond reminded him.

'Thank you very much,Raymond,I have not forgotten,but I will be granted this opportunity of going elsewhere 'The prince stated Nobly. Raymond Nods.

He walked to the cabin of Mr Walker ,luckily her parents were not at home. A loud knock was heard from outside. Jane walked to the door to open up and she gaped surprisingly....
'Missed me ,Baby?'He flashed a unique smile and spread out his arms.
