Chapter 17- Surprise

The cabin of the walkers is booming with celebration because Jane has brought joy to their home once again.

Jacob Vickers is present and the walkers accept him wholeheartedly.

'where would you like to go Jane?' he asked .

Jane faked a smile. They were seated in the dinning room, with various kinds of food before them.

'i'll be fine here , just spending time with everyone'.

'oh come on-' Jacob pressed on harder. He is chubby with dark sleeked hair, and has an attractive smile.

'I seriously don't know where you want me to go Jacob'.

'just say'

Jane thought deeply, and she decided that going to Kabavia for the city's event would enable her to see the prince and also finally meet Danica.

'The City's Capital then.' she uttered.

Jacob held a puzzled look.'Why the city's capital? Its a very long journey from here, except you plan on staying long'

Jane sighed.'there is a mental wellness event the Royal family is holding, and the reviews I've been getting is that it's really insightful and mind-blowing i just want to give it a try maybe I can develop My mind.'

Jacob nods as if convinced, 'okay,okay, we'll head there tomorrow.'

Jane is glad inwardly and she goes to her room to select what she's wearing to the event. She texts Hans immediately.

'i'll be visiting Kabavia tomorrow with Jacob , I can finally meet Danica if possible.'

She sighs heavily, She's not in anyway interested in Jacob, he's rich and very nice but he's influencing her parents with his wealth and has won their hearts, she has told him off many times but he keeps coming back to prove himself. They are convinced that he is the right son in law.

Prince Hans received the text from Jane and was glad he would be seeing her again, he went to Inform Danica , he knocked at her door and she called from inside with a muffled voice.

'Come in'

He opened the door and was surprised to not see her, he heard sounds from the bathroom
and instantly he knew she was having her bath. Did she not know he was the one knocking, she must've thought it was her maiden. Shit!

The Bathroom door went open and she stepped out, he paused.
She freaked out as her eyes went round and big , she gapped her mouth.

His eyes went all over her body, Good thing she had a shower garment on. Her hair falling around her back. She tightened her robe around herself . The hem of the robe was touching her knees.

The prince swallowed and looked away. Danica blinked away, and folded her lips in awkwardness.

'i'm sorry I didn't realize you were in the Bathroom' he spurted out immediately.

'I thought it was my maiden,my bad' she walked up to her dresser and took a body ointment.'You wanted to see me?'

'yes' he answered as if awakened.'Jane would be coming tomorrow, she has been wanting to see you, so it would be a vital surprise to receive her '

Danica smiled.'That's very good to hear Hans'

'In other to avoid suspicions, she'll be coming with someone tomorrow, he's her suitor, you'll know him when you see him' he said trying to avoid making contacts with her.

He gets up. And looked around her room.'So, what plans do you have tomorrow, for the event?'

She rubbed her neck.'I intend on making it very different tomorrow, unforgettable too' she smiles and he smiles back.

'so what surprise do you have for Beaumont and Kabavia tomorrow?' he asked.

'Maybe hosting a dance competition and reward the winners, there's going to be games too.'

The prince nods in satisfaction.'That's very brilliant Danica, it's a wonderful idea.'

The maiden enters the room impulsively because she's so used to coming into Danica's room. Danica made Rosa her personal maiden and they're so fond of each other.

'oh my , I'm so sorry your graces, I had no idea you both were in here, I shall leave you both to continue' Rosa curtesied as she apologized in a hurry and left the room.

The prince held back his laughter , Danica tried but couldn't hold back her laughter, as it bursted out from her mouth.

'Please pardon Rosa, she's just my very dear friend and she can be really clumsy sometimes' Danica said.

'Alright Danica, what can we possibly plan for tomorrow?'

Danica sat down on the bed and brought out a big journal. 'This is where I'm putting the order of tomorrow an-'

'You know what ? I'll just leave it to you , you can surprise me tomorrow '

Danica couldn't believe her eyes. 'And if it goes well I might reward you' his chin went up as he spoke.

'So, does this involve me making any request of my choice?' she asks curiously.

'Yes'

Her joy was untold as she laid on the bed in gladness and screamed 'Yes!'

The hem of her gown went up and revealed her thighs, the prince tried to look away before Danica came back to her senses and sat properly changing the topic in an instance.

'Alright then, dress to impress too, make sure you look amazing ...'she swallowed 'As always'
She gazed at him with her hot eyes . Prince Hans swallowed evasively and nodded in answer.

'I'll take my leave now, see you tomorrow Danica'
He leaves the room and when he shut the door he exhaled sharply.
