I woke up earlier than usual. There was an unexpected announcement from the department that our team will be leading to Camarines Sur today. That's a very rush moment, but we can't do anything about it as it's from above.
As I arrived, all their eyes were on me. They're all giving me a teasing look.
What's happening?
"Akala ko ba hindi mo type ang Lieutenant Colonel? Dating na pala kayo."
"Ikaw ah! Lowkey lang pala kayo."
"May pa dinner date pa kayo. Nakakainggit naman!"
What the fuck?!
Anong dating? Anong lowkey? Anong dinner date?
"Anong sinasabi niyo?" nalilito kong tanong.
"Diba, nag dinner kayo ng Lieutenant Colonel kagabi?" tanong nila.
"Yes... but, that's not a dinner date." sagot ko.
Kunot-noo naman sila ngayon. Tsaka, paano nila nalaman yon?
"Sabi ng Lieutenant Colonel, dating kayo. Nagpost pa nga siya ng picture niyo kaya nalaman namin na nag dinner kayo." I was shocked on what they said.
Sinabi ni Marco na dating kami?
Hindi ko naman na sila pinansin pa at dumiretso ako sa building namin.
Binuksan ko ang phone ko at dali-daling tumungo sa Instagram.
Fuck!
Lietenant Colonel Marcos posted a photo of us last night. All of them thought that this was a fucking dinner date. Damn that man! He even spread the rumor that we are dating when though we are not.
I agreed to his invitation for the dinner because I wanted to talk to him privately about his actions towards me, especially the moment that he handed me a bouquet of flowers. I didn't have a choice but to take that because I didn't want him to feel embarrassed. I don't want to entertain him so much, and I also don't want him to have hope for both of us.
We talked about that matter last night. I explained to him that I just saw him as our Lieutenant Colonel. I respect him as my officer, nothing more and nothing less.
But what the hell is he doing now? He was lying and even brought our picture in public.

He still knows me? So, the flight demonstration was really successful that became memorable for him to not forget me.
