I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was a white ceiling. I stared at it for two seconds but suddenly heard some stand up on my right and the next second there was something else in my field of vision.

"Aed? Can you hear me? How do you feel?"

The man seemed very worried for some reason and me not answering didn't help. I was just observing him while he pushed a button on the side of the bed:

"Everything is fine, now. I called the nurse. Just lay down."

The man had a very deep voice and he must have been very tall judging by how far he had to bend to talk to me. He had dark mid-long hair and was wearing a full black suit. At a first glance he looked very rich and neat but if you looked longer you realized that his blouse was unbuttoned and his jacket was wrinkled. His hair was messy and he had dark circles under his eyes.

He grabbed my hand and started gently caressing it, still looking very worried.

"Why would you do that? Why can't you put yourself first?"

I didn't have time to answer because the doctor came in and immediately walked up to me. The worried man didn't let go of my hand one second and stared at the doctor almost menacingly:

"How is he? Is there something wrong? He isn't answering me.

-Mister Virion, you should calm down. We told you that we know what we are doing."

Mister Virion didn't calm down at all:

"If there is anything wrong with him I'm going to sue everyone here.

-If you don't calm down I'm going to have to ask you to leave.

-I am not going anywhere."

They were talking more and more loudly and my head started spinning so I raised my hand to my forehead. I shouldn't have moved because the next second Mister Virion went back to his panicked state:

"What's wrong? Where does it hurt?"

The doctor finally managed to silence Mister Virion somehow and I could feel him rub the sides of my head slowly. I did feel a bit better and opened my eyes again feeling me come back to my body more and more.

"Where am I?"

Judging by the white walls and the presence of a doctor I must have been in the hospital but I had no idea what I was doing there. Seeing me confused, the doctor frowned and asked me gently:

"You were transported to the hospital following an accident."

Mister Virion, who I had completely forgotten, started getting mad again:

"It wasn't an accident. That speaker was cut on purpose."

He then turned back to me and took my hand back in his:

"I will find who did this."

I frowned:

"Who are you?"

Everyone froze and seeing them confused confused me even more.

"What do you mean?

-Who are you?"

The stranger let go of my hand and his eyes went dark. He didn't say anything and just stared at me. The doctor on the other side tried helping me:

"Mister Virion is the one who took you to the hospital. Don't you remember?"

I shook my head.

"What is the last thing that you remember?

-I..."

I tried remembering something, anything. But my mind went blank and seeing my turn pale, the doctor tried calming me down:

"It's okay, take your time. Do you remember your name?

-I... I don't...

-It's okay, don't worry. You should rest a bit more. Mister Virion, may I talk to you alone?"

The two strangers left me alone and I continued laying there trying to remember anything. It was very frustrating feeling all my memories flow through my fingers every second I tried to catch them and I felt like crying. Not wanting to cry, I suddenly stood up and needed a second to stabilize. As soon as the world stopped spinning I looked around. I was in a very fancy hospital room with a huge bed, and maroon furniture. There were chairs, a table, a mirror and even a huge bathroom... I immediately walked up to one of the mirrors and looked at my reflection.

I saw a man with short light brown hair and green eyes. He was quite tall and seemed very pale and panicked. It was very weird looking at myself. At first it was as if I was seeing a total stranger but the more I was looking at that face, the more familiar it felt. That nose, those round cheeks, those white teeth... All of them seemed exactly as they should be. This was definitely me and having one thing I remembered felt good. This was me.

I was so focused on my reflection that I didn't hear the door open and jumped when another figure appeared in the mirror's reflection. I immediately turned back and saw the same stranger who had been holding my hand when I woke up, Mister Virion if I remembered well. He looked way better than before and even smiled:

"Do you like your appearance?"

I looked back at my face and nodded:

"Yes."

He walked closer and positioned himself behind my reflection:

"Even in a hospital gown you look breathtaking."

He got even closer and put a hand on my shoulder while I did my best to ignore his weird compliment:

"What do you think about my appearance?"

I looked back at the stranger and frowned.

"Why is that important?"

He shrugged:

"I am just curious. I think you are the most handsome man I have ever seen. What do you think about me? I just want to hear your honest answer."

I looked him up and down in silence. If he was curious about what I thought then I was going to be honest. There was no point lying anyway.

"You are very handsome.

-Am I?

-Yes.

-What do you like about me?"

I frowned. I had no idea why this was so important to him. Especially because he looked like someone who had just stepped out of a fashion show. He just looked perfect and I didn't understand why he needed my compliment but I decided to answer anyway:

"You look perfect."

Mister Virion seemed taken aback by my honesty but right after the surprise, he started beaming. Why would he be so happy hearing compliments from me?

"More. What precisely do you like?

-I really like your face. And the shape of your jawline."

He started rubbing his jaw with a satisfied grin:

"What else?"

I sighed:

"If you need help with self confidence go find a therapist and leave me alone."

He started laughing for some reason:

"Don't be like that. I just want to look my best for you."

I frowned:

"Why? Who am I to you?"

Mister Virion didn't answer my question and suddenly touched my cheek:

"You look a bit pale. I will walk you back to bed."

I did feel a bit lightheaded so I accepted his hand and followed him to bed silently.
