CHAPTER 15

Toni

"Your birthday is close" Olivia said sounding excited, we were sitting in the backyard watching sunset as we waited for Logan to come downstairs so we can go to the party, as for Peter he already left.

"Yeah I can't wait" I replied sarcastically, I like my birthday I just hate the attention it brings me sometimes.

"So I've been thinking, I spoke to Peter the other day and we decided to take a break, I know there are many rooms in the house but..." She pushed her hair behind her ear, and I watched her cheeks get tinted in light pink.

"But?" I initiated,

"But...can I stay in yours?" She asked making me raise my eyebrow in surprise, I don't know why I was surprised to be honest maybe because things were different now.

"I- I mean, I'm not pressuring you..or anything. I can just sleep in a different room..sorry" she rumbled making me chuckle at her nervousness I put my hand in hers and intertwined our fingers.

"I don't mind, it's not the first time you'll sleep in my bed Olivia" I kissed her knuckles and just smiled when the redness coated her cheeks again, she hid her face in my neck and I laid my cheek on her head.

"Dad asked me to come back and leave you and Logan have your alone time" I heard her say in a sad tone, I frowned and pulled away from the side hug.

"What are you talking about?" I asked confused, she sighed and brushed her hair back to get it out of her face.

"My dad called me and told me I'm ruining my sister's marriage and I have to come back home" she explained but I was still so confused,

"Do you think Peter said something to him?"

Maybe because she broke up with him, he called her dad and told him about it. But why would her dad tell her she's ruining Logan and I's marriage? Did Peter tell Olivia's dad about me and her liking each other?

"If you're gonna go back, so am I." I reassured her, I'm not about to let her go back alone when I just got to kiss her and love her like I always wanted.

"You're not gonna do that Toni, you know how your dad gets" She said and let go of my hand instead she put it on my cheek and gently caressed it.

"Less than two weeks and we'll see each other again..." She whispered and leaned to peck my lips,

"B-but..I don't want you to go." She chuckled softly before standing up, she gave me her hand to hold and pulled me up to my feet.

"It's not like I'll never see you again Toni. It's just two weeks" she wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me tight, her words were as a joke but something inside me didn't find it funny. I put my hands on her waist and leaned to kiss her neck gently.

"Okay.." was all I said, I wanted to say more than just 'okay' but the words wouldn't come out.

"I'm done, let's go" Logan interrupted us, I pulled away from Olivia and we all made our way to the car so we can go the neighbors' house. The car ride was quick but the silence wasn't making it any better.

"Is everything okay?" Logan asked when we parked in front of the house, Olivia was in the backseat while Logan was in the passenger side.

"Olivia and Peter will be leaving tomorrow night" I said before getting out of the car, I opened the back door for Olivia to get out.

"What? Why?" Logan asked confused,

"papá me pidió que volviera, he said I'm ruining your marriage" Olivia said sounding annoyed, Logan frowned in confusion before looking at me for help. (Dad asked me to come back).
