Chapter 18

I awoke with a booming headache and a familiar dizziness. I was staring up at a plain white ceiling and the smell of disinfectant lingered in the air. Frick. Why am I here? Suddenly I felt a warm embrace.

"St-steven..,"

His voice... Anthony?

"Oh, hello Anthony," I spoke to him, "Why is your hand bandaged?"

"I fought that guy for you, baby,"

Who? Why did he call me baby?

"Where's Jess? Shouldn't she be here with you or something?" I asked.

"You don't remember?"

"No,"

What should I remember?

"Let me go get the doctor," he hurried away.

~Anthony's POV (Chilled)~

I rushed out of the room before he could see me cry.

"Ah, Anthony, I assume Steven is awake?" the doctor spoke, walking up to me.

"He... doesn't... r-remember..." I said in between sobs.

"I didn't think this was going to happen..." He trailed off, before quickly entering Steven's hospital room.

After a few minutes he reemerged, looking relieved.

"Steven's memory loss is minor, it should gradually return in a few days," he told me.

"Okay, thank you, doctor,"

Memory loss?! That means that... that he doesn't remember us?!? How will he take the news that we are -were together? Calm down, Anthony, it's not like it's permanent, he'll be good as new in a couple days. You should be happy that he's not as injured as Jess' new boyfriend. After all I did beat him up pretty bad. Although he did deserve it. How dare he beat up my little Viking?!

{Magical time skip to a few days later}

-~- Steven's POV (Ze) -~-

I finished uploading a video of Town of Salem (A/N I love that game) and decided to see how Anthony was doing. He has seemed really distant from me since the hospital thing.

I knocked on his bedroom door. "Hello? Chilly Willy?"

"Come in, Steven,"

I walked into his room and plopped onto his bed.

"We need to talk," we spoke at the same time before laughing.

"Okay at the same time, on three. One. Two. Three,"

A/N So I should probably start making the chapters a little -okay maybe a lot longer. Oh and update more instead of putting it off for months. Oops? I have finally come to an agreement with myself to update every Wednesday, so yeah look for that. I'll try to make them longer, I promise. So yeah make sure to like, comment, and follow. Actually do what you please, it's your choice.
