Should've stuck with sticking sticks in the soil. Now, Clover is lost. The trees are too thick for Clover to get a good signal to track her RV from her phone.
"Donita!" Chris catches a glimpse of her ship flying away.
"She must've blown away the trail on purpose," Martin adds.
"But why? We're not even finding animals right now."
"I think she wants something better than animal prints..."
Clover paces in a circle. What was that in the air? Who was flying that oddly pretty-looking jet in the air. But more importantly, why did it decide to hover then leave? She couldn't believe it. And because of that, she had no way of getting back to the Tortuga or the Dandelion Driver.
She could always guess her way and hope for the best, but she didn't want to put herself in any more danger than she already is. The Wild Kratts would look for her, right? At least she was a little hopeful.
That hope didn't last for long, though. A tall woman in stylish clothing approaches her.
"You're Clover Hallows, aren't you?" She nonchalantly approaches.
"Who wants to know?"
"Donita Donata. Famous fashion designer," she extends her hand, waiting for a handshake.
Clover crosses her arms. This lady also looked familiar. She eventually shakes her hand. "Pleasure to meet your acquaintance," she lets go and returns back to her skeptical posture.
"Oh-ho-ho, there's no need to be so formal, dear. I'm here on behalf of rescuing you."
"Who said I needed to be rescued?" She raises an eyebrow.
"Your body language and tone makes it quite obvious, dear. But there's no need to be tense up any longer. Dabio?" She snaps her fingers.
"Dabio? Is that a perso—?" She looks behind her, but it's too late.
Dabio puts a sack over her head. Only she, Donita, and Dabio can hear her muffled screams.
After scurrying back to the jet, Donita and Dabio take off. Only problem is they don't know where to go. So, they decided to fly a couple of laps around the forest until the jet needed more fuel. Donita traps Clover under her pose beam. She tries to wriggle, but it's no use.
"So, tell me, darling. What are you really doing here?" She circles around her.
"If you're a 'fan' of me, you'd know I'm studying botany," Clover rolls her eyes.
Donita pushes a button on her remote and makes Clover move against her will.
"Woah! What the?!"
"Another question; how do you know that pesky Wild Kratt crew?"
"Hmph. Maybe if I didn't talk to them, I wouldn't be in this situation in the first place," Clover grumbles.
She didn't realize how bizarre their job actually is. Gaining animals' abilities, traveling in a turtle airship, having to deal with crazy people like Donita, their lives were constantly in danger...! Something her family wouldn't be too fond of...
Clover's words caught Donita's attention even more. "Then how would you like to work with me?"
"Don't you hunt animals and use them for clothes and jewelry? That's not good," she disapproves.
"So? What matters is that people adore me and my wonderful clothing lines! The only people getting in my way are those filthy Wild Kratts," she seethes just by saying the name and tightly closes her fist.
Clover definitely doesn't want to work alongside Donita. Let alone be in the same room—er, plane? She needed to escape. But...how?
"I tracked Donita's coordinates. Looks like she landed near a place with a lot of flowers," Koki explains.
"I think this calls for a sneaky ambush," Martin grins mischievously.
"And I have just the Creature Powers for you two," Aviva hands Chris and Martin the hummingbird and squirrel discs.
"The squirrel and hummingbird?" Chris questions.
"You don't wanna scare away Donita right away. She might take Clover along with her again," Aviva says.
"She has a point, bro," Martin inserts the squirrel disc for later use and saves a sample of squirrel fur in his pocket.
Chris takes the hummingbird power and stores a hummingbird feather.
"Now then, let's go rescue Clover!" Chris announces.
