"Gotta think, gotta think, gotta think!" Everything floods Chris' mind all at once, but the more he thinks, the more time he's losing.

Calculating the maximum speed of the peregrine falcon, the elevation of Martin and Clover, the speed of which they are falling, he had to try.

In one averagely graceful swoop, he manages to save Martin. He was on his way to save Clover, but he missed by one singular factor; Zach getting in the way once again. He put on a communication disruptor on Chris' Creature Power Suit when he wasn't paying attention. Soon enough, the three of them were falling to their demise.

Thud. Thud. Thud.

"We got 'em!" Koki yells.

One by one, they fall through the opening hatch on top of the Tortuga, landing on top of each other on the emergency pad set up inside. The impact and weight of the brothers woke up Clover.

"W-when did I go to sleep? And when did I get back to the Tortuga?"

"Are you three alright?" Aviva roller skates toward them, checking to see if they have any injuries.

"We're fine now," Martin groans while sitting up. "Chris? Clover? Uff—!"

Chris pulls Martin and Clover into a warm embrace. "I'm so sorry..." he whispers in a quiet sob, not wanting the others to see him even more vulnerable than he already is.

Clover and Martin give each other a sympathetic smile and hug him back.

"We're still here. We're still here. You've done good," Clover pats his back.

The following night, Clover sits on top of the Tortuga and looks at the patches of sky. The tall trees are in the way from capturing a perfect view like last time, but she doesn't mind. If she thinks researching plants at night is dangerous, she'll call it a night and gaze at the stars instead. There's something about its vast variety that gets her attention seemingly every time.

She lets out a deep breath and tries to recap on her day. Usually, she's not a deep sleeper like that. But whenever she's sleep deprived like so, she can be. She realized that just now. Why did she have to be so stubborn? She stayed up for twenty-four hours like she wanted, but at what cost? This would've been a good wake up call if she was even awake, but she definitely realizes how serious the situation was.

Seeing Chris hurt like that hurt her. This was the first time she's seen any of the crew shaken up like that. She's only been here for a few days and this is what happens? Everything seemed to intensify as soon as she got here. Maybe it was best she left...for the safety of herself and the team, right?

How would she leave, though? Sneak back to the Dandelion Driver and never look back? Leave a note on the table and drive into the night? She didn't need long-lasting connections with these people anyways! She silently cried to herself. Her thoughts were paused when she hears someone climbing on the roof. She brings her knees to her chest and rests her head, sighing.

"I guess you're another villain itching to capture me. Go ahead," she accepts her fate.

"Even if I were, I'd never capture you," a familiar voice says from behind before sitting next to her.

"Hm? Hey, Martin..."

"Today wasn't your fault," he blurts out.

"Huh?"

"It was never your fault. You were curious. I'm curious all the time. Like just now. I was wondering who was on the roof. Come to find out, it was you all along," he softly smiles.

"Even if it wasn't my fault...I caused nothing but trouble as soon as I arrived. I basically lead those villains to you all," she turns her head away from him.
