Note #1: I really want to make stories based on episodes here, but at the same time, I'm like, 'I dunno, man.' I'm trying to think of original storylines without being too repetitive to the episodes, but then again, I'm still on season two of binging this show—
"You can fly to different countries with ease just like that?!" Since the day Clover met the Wild Kratts crew, she's discovered something new every day. This time, it's seeing the long distances the Tortuga can fly across the world.
It dawned on her that she's thousands and thousands of miles away from her family. A long-distance road trip is fine, but to go to another continent without informing them was on a whole other level. Don't even get her started on international call fees. Maybe her Creature Pod could avoid that, but she didn't want to take that risk. It's safe to say Clover gets homesick quite often.
"Yep, and we're here," Jimmy hovers the Tortuga over the ocean and transforms it into sea mode.
Chris and Martin run outside wearing their wetsuits while holding their Manta Riders and diving into the water.
"What are those?" Clover points to the machine resembling a manta ray.
"Our Manta Riders!" Martin happily answers.
"You mean my Manta Riders?" Aviva chuckles. "They're to help the bros explore the ocean without their Creature Powers."
"Cool, but how are we supposed to get down there?"
"With the Amphi-Sub," Koki calls her over to the other side and steps in Aviva's additional invention. Aviva and Clover follow after.
The hatch closes and Jimmy operates the crane to lower them into the ocean. Aviva maneuvers the machine and follows the Kratt brothers. Clover looks out the window and admires the variety of marine animals swimming by. The blonde brother moves in front of the window and makes a funny face, accidentally startling Clover and breaking her out of her mesmerized sub-aquatic trance.
She flinches and steps back before realizing who it was. She playfully rolls her eyes and laughs before walking back to the front as Aviva and Koki call her up.
"So, Clover. What do you like out here?" Chris asks from outside.
"The ocean's a lot more beautiful than I thought. Even better than the photos I've seen and this one diving expedition I went on for vacation when I was younger," she pulls up a picture on her Creature Pod of a younger version of her.
Aside from being amazed her photos were backed up and saved that fast as well as the ability to turn it into a hologram, the photo shows her as a high schooler in a snorkeling suit in a shallow part of the ocean where a coral reef can be seen. She's giving a thumbs up and grinning.
"Wow. I guess I always appreciated the ocean. I mean, I always always did," she nervously laughs in between. "You understand what I'm trying to say though, right?" Everyone nods. She sighs in relief.
"What's your favorite reef creature?" He asks.
"There's so many to name, I have no idea where to start!"
"What about clownfish?" Martin spots a group nearby.
"Or starfish?" Chris points out the creature alongside his brother.
"Sea sponges?"
"Sea anemone?"
"Octopuses?"
"Crabs?"
"Sea snails!"
"The coral itself?"
"I get it!" Clover yells to stop them, but laughs. "I really like turtles."
