The crew made Clover sleep in her RV for the night, which she didn't have a problem with. She knows exactly why. She wakes up to the sound of her Creature Pod ringing.
"HAPPY EARTH DAY BIRTHDAY, CLOVER!!" Aster yells, nearly shaking the device out of her hand.
"Aster!! Thank you so much!" Clover groggily laughs.
"The team better be throwin' you the best party ever. Wait...where are you?" Aster looks closer at Clover's surroundings he's never seen before.
"Oh yeah!" Clover sits up. "Aviva remodeled Dandy!" She extends her arm as far as she can to show off the new interior.
"No way! Man, I gotta visit you more often," Aster never fails to be impressed by the crew. "Are you sure you don't need a bodyguard or anythin'?"
"Yes, Aster. I'm sure I don't need a bodyguard."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure."
"Are you really sure?"
"I'm really sure."
"Are you sure you're sure?"
"I'm sure I'm sure."
"...are you though?"
"Boy, I just woke up."
Aster bursts out laughing. "Aight, aight, aight, have an awesome day. I hope Iris calls you later."
"Wait! She said she would?!"
Aster's face drops and he looks away. "What's that? Time for practice?" He sucks in his teeth. "Looks like I gotta go...k bye!"
"I didn't hear any—" Aster hangs up. "—thing..." Clover sighs. "A call from Iris would be really good though..."
Iris has such a busy schedule nowadays that her appearances always seem spontaneous, even when she announces them ahead of time. Clover wouldn't let a potential phone call slow down her day. There was a lot to look forward to. She couldn't wait!
"A little to the left," Chris instructs Jimmy who's balancing on a ladder putting up a nicely painted banner saying 'Happy birthday, Clover!' with a frame of flowers around it. "Hmm, move it higher."
"Woah...!" Jimmy tries his best to keep his balance. "Does it really need to be this high?"
"It needs to be perfect! Clover's been so dedicated ever since we met her and I want to, I mean, I want us to show her how much we appreciate her."
Jimmy moves the banner a little higher, but flails his arms. Martin holds the end of the ladder. "I got you, buddy!"
Jimmy successfully puts the banner in place. That is until he loses his balance and falls on top of Martin. Chris helps them both off the floor.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah...I'm good..." Jimmy dizzily says, shaking his head.
"Huh? I was talking to the banner. He didn't rip you, did he?" Chris talks to the banner as if he's protecting it.
Martin laughs. "Sounds like somebody really wants to make a certain somebody happy," he playfully nudges Chris' arm.
"I only want the best for Clover. Nothing more, nothing less. Wait, there needs to be more. Aviva and Koki said they'll return with the cake soon, but how soon...?" Chris paces around as if that'll speed up time.
Martin simply smiles at his little brother caring for Clover this much. "Should I get Clover now?"
"Not yet. Keep her distracted a little longer. I already feel bad making her sleep in her RV."
