At long last, Aviva finally finished upgrading Clover's RV. Actually, it didn't take her very long. Only four days, which isn't the fastest work she could do, but she wanted it to be perfect for Clover.
Aviva leads Clover down to the Tortuga's garage with her hands in front of her eyes. The rest of the team follow them.
"No peeking!"
"Are we almost there yet?"
"We are right about...now! Ready?"
"Mhm."
"When I count to three, you can look. Got it?"
"Yep."
"One, two, three!"
Aviva removes her hands and reveals a shiny and beautifully painted yellow, gray, and white RV. Clover and the rest of the crew couldn't believe their eyes.
"It only gets better from here. Let me show you around," Aviva leads her to the door and opens it.
The interior was way more spacious and organized than before. It felt like a mini version of the Tortuga in Clover's style; floral, simple, and luxurious.
"Aviva, you really outdid yourself here...wow!" Clover says breathtakingly. She can't believe someone did this out of the kindness of their heart and out of the passion of their job. The others were equally impressed as they stepped inside.
"Here, a bunk bed connected to your old desk. There's lots of things already stored in here, so I figured they were still important to keep," Aviva guides.
Clover opens her desk drawers which were neatly organized. "You bet it's important!" She takes out her crafting materials, making her desk messy again. "I was working on something for Chris and Martin for giving me that carved tulip a while ago. Don't tell them though. It's a surprise."
Aviva winks. "My lips are sealed," she pretends to zip her lips, but then unzips them. "Back to the tour!"
She continues showing Clover all the new features, equipment, and furniture she implemented. Everything was so hi-tech. It really makes you wonder about the total cost. Let alone where Aviva gets all of these materials in the first place...
"And now, the best for last," she opens the garage door. "Let's take this out for a test drive."
Clover nods and sits in the driver's seat with Aviva in the passenger seat. Clover looks at all the new buttons, switches, and levers.
"Uhhh...what do I do?"
"Drive outside like you normally would," Aviva says as she buckles her seatbelt.
Clover does the same and starts driving outside around the Tortuga with ease on the typical rough terrain.
"These buttons can change the setting of the tires depending on what you drive over. Dirt, snow, rocks, and grass just to name a few," Aviva explains as Clover continues driving.
She had never felt such a seamless driving experience before. At least for the most part.
"Now then, are you ready for the big surprise?"
"What's the surprise?"
"You see that bright green button?"
"Uh huh."
"Press it," Aviva excitedly grins.
Clover presses the buttons and feels a tiny jolt before feeling like the vehicle is off the ground—wait a minute.
Clover widens her eyes. Is this what she thinks it is? The rest of the crew feel that weightless effect, too. She rolls down the window and looks out, seeing wings popping from both sides and the tires changing from its typical driving mode.
"NO WAY!"
"Way."
"DANDY CAN—DANDY CAN FLY NOW?!"
"Mhm!"
Clover is beyond shocked. This is the most she's ever been impressed. "Please, please, PLEASE give me flying lessons!" She whips her head back to the smiling inventor.
"Alright. Land and then snap your fingers."
Clover presses the green button again and it turns back into its original state. She snaps her fingers, but nothing happens until she hears a soft clunking sound from outside.
"Huh? What was that?" She unbuckles her seatbelt and opens the door.
She couldn't believe her eyes on what she saw: a light blue self-balancing scooter with a yellow bow on the handles and a large, red flow spread across the base in the front perfect for keeping her in place.
"Aviva!!" She gasps at the second vehicle.
Aviva hands Clover a yellow helmet and she quickly puts it on, securing it in place.
"Did you all know about this?!" She turns around to the others.
"We knew about this, but we had no clue what your RV could do," Koki says.
"I'm gonna name you...Flower Flier!" Clover names her new vehicle.
"And that's not all!" Chris beams.
"Because we'll be teaching you how to fly!" Martin adds.
"Not a chance," Aviva shoots down their idea.
"Oh, pretty please, Aviva!" Martin clasps his fingers together and starts pleading.
"We'll keep Clover safe!" Chris protectively hugs Clover from her right side. Martin squeezes her together on her left. She gives an awkward grin and shrugs to Aviva now that she's sandwiched between them.
Aviva raises an eyebrow. "And what will you use to fly exactly?"
"The Buzz Bikes!"
"And destroy them again? Again, not a chance."
Chris and Martin cling onto Aviva's shoes. "We'll be extra careful!" Chris promises.
"Extra, extra careful!" Martin double promises.
Aviva gives Clover an exasperated look. All she does is shrug again. Luckily for the bros, she caves in. "And you promise you'll keep Clover and the bikes safe?"
"We promise!" They promise simultaneously.
Aviva sighs and crosses her arms. "Fine. I guess you two can do that while I show her how to fly her RV another time—"
Chris and Martin already retrieved their Buzz Bikes and bring Clover and her new smaller, portable vehicle along.
"Great! Thanks! Bye!" Martin says farewell.
"You won't regret this!" Chris adds on.
Koki walks up to Aviva while watching the brothers take away Clover. "They're still gonna break something, aren't they?"
"...yep."
"I think I'm gonna break in Clover's new couch. It looks like it needs someone to nap on it, and I think I'm the perfect one for the job," Jimmy walks back inside Clover's RV and immediately rests on the couch. Aviva and Koki simply chuckle at him.
