Note #1: Based on season 1, episode 32 "Flight of the Pollinators."
Flower-based episodes or episodes that also talk about flowers are literally so Clover-coded and Clover core. Like, there was this one Wild Kratts game I remember playing on the PBS Kids website called "Flower Flyer" and mannnn. If only I could go back to it now. I even unintentionally named Clover's flying scooter "the Flower Flier." It doesn't get anymore perfect than that.
Clover pokes out of a bush using one hand to hold binoculars and the other to lift the left side of her hair in place. She spots Martin talking to a flower. Odd. She sneaks up on him and taps him on the shoulder, accidentally scaring him.
"Uh, Martin? As much as the next person wishes flowers could talk, they simply can't." she says.
"What? No, no, it's Chris," he explains.
"You named a flower Chris? Wait, did he use a flower creature power? Not fair! Aviva said she'd try developing one for me first," Clover pouts.
He pats her shoulder. "No!" He looks at the flower again. "I see you now, Chris. Come look at this, Clover," he gestures to Clover to come closer.
She crouches down to his level. "Oh wow, Chris! What are you doing?"
He explains that today's finally the day to get some honey bee footage. Chris explores the inside of the flower. Clover is so jealous. Getting that close observing a flower is something she never even thought of before.
At some point, a bee flies to collect pollen. Chris accidentally gets stuck to the bee. Despite his efforts to free himself, it was no use. Martin tried to help, but the bee, which he named Beast, flew away.
"What—? This mission is going bee-serk!" Martin grasped onto Clover's shoulders, leaving only inches between their faces.
Great, now Clover was nervous about two things.
"Follow that bee!" He lets go and points in the direction the bee flew off in.
She chases after him holding a butterfly net. Martin calls for Chris as another identical bee flies in. He and Clover unknowingly split up. Chris speaks again. Clover raises the net and Martin runs in her direction, bumping into each other really hard. Clover accidentally rips the net over his head as they both dizzily fall to the ground.
They get back up and return to the Tortuga. Clover panics to Aviva on potentially making a honey bee creature power disc or something honey bee-related and to Koki on finding coordinates. Jimmy overhears and Clover explains Chris was practically miniaturized to the size of a crumb of pizza crust. Maybe it was a bit exaggerated, but her point was still valid.
Martin is determined to find him, so he goes back out there alone. Clover stays behind and slumps in the other chair, burying her face in her hands.
"I never know what those two will get into..."
"Well, that's the Kratt brothers for you," Aviva comforts her.
"I'm sure Martin'll find Chris," Jimmy says before taking another bite of his pizza. "I hope."
Aviva and Koki glare at him. Clover looks up at him with a saddened and somewhat defeated expression.
"I meant, uh, Martin's totally gonna find Chris. When have they ever given up?" He corrects himself.
While it was nice to hear that, it wouldn't instantaneously save Chris from danger. She sighs and stands up from the chair, excusing herself to get some fresh air. She grabs her journal and sits by a tree. She starts sketching a detailed honey bee and looks back on old notes of the anatomy of flowers. She turns to a new page and writes down her feelings on everything that's happened so far.
