Katie

As we drove close enough the Galaxy Garrison came into view, all I could think about was my family. I felt bad, I was the only one who could be certain that their family was even there. Trying not to feel guilty, I looked ahead as we drove through the gate in the particle barrier.

Once out of the tunnel, it took a while to get my bearings, the light to dark to light hurt my eyes, but when my vision cleared the only thing I was looking for was my family.

There were people lined up at the end of the road, waiting for us. I couldn't see who they were very well, but I saw lots of grey, Garrison uniforms. But then... My Mom!

The cruiser pulled to a stop and the second the door opened I was already flying out. "Mom!"

"Katie! I'm so glad you're safe!" She exclaimed as she fought me. I felt my Dad join the hug.

I wasn't sure how long we sat there. Seconds, minutes. But it must not have been too long, because when I untangled myself, no one else had even gotten out of the truck yet. In the other cruiser, I saw Shiro get pulled into a hug by a dark-skinned man in a uniform

Keith stepped out and looked around, only to be immediately tackled into a hug. "Percy!" Keith said, grinning. I think I saw tears, "My brother..."

By now, Lance had run off to join his family. And when he returned to see Percy, sitting on Keith's shoulders and clutching his head like a lifeline, he ran back over.

"Percival!"

"Gawain! Hunk!"

Within seconds, Percy, Lance, Hunk, Shiro, Keith and I were in a massive group hug. I think I saw Alura and Coran looking at us amused, and definitely much more dignified than the rest of us. "Team Voltron!" Percy was cheering, "Back together again!"

Percy

I looked around from the top of the dog pile we had made. The paladins had arrived with Griffin and Rizavi. There was another Altean. I would need to introduce myself to her. Suddenly I was grabbed by the wrist and pulled away from the others. My kidnapped turned me around to look at them.

She was tall. Very tall, taller than Shiro, even. She was Galra, maybe a Blade of Marmora. Keith appeared next to us, looking between us cautiously. "So you're the one Keith won't stop talking about." She mused, looking me up and down.

"Percy," Keith started nervously. "This is Krolia. My mother."

Oh. Oh. That makes a lot more sense now. "Well, it's nice to meet you Ms..."

"Krolia is fine, thank you." She smiled.

I smiled and turned around, but I didn't have enough time to look around before something pushed up against my legs. I looked down. It was a... a blue wolf. "Hey there," I pet its head and it nuzzled my hand. "I don't believe we've met. I'm Percy."

"This is Kosmo," Keith said. "Mom and I met him in the quantum abyss, and he just kinda stuck around."

The group had separated once again, and I looked for someone in particular. There. I spotted a small person with green and white armour and large glasses. I took a deep breath. I walked over and tapped Katie on the shoulder. She turned, and my breath caught in my throat. "Hi..." I said.

She tackled me in a hug. I still hadn't figured out the catch, so I almost fell over. "Percy!" She wrapped her arms around my neck, mine around her waist. I didn't need anything else, at that moment.

"Sorry," I told her, " I wanted to find you first, but you were with your mom, and I didn't wanna keep Keith waiting and-"

"Percy!" She interrupted, "Just stop." She hugged me tighter. "I missed you."
