Haerin's POV:
The past few years on valentines I have spent with Niki but we never really did anything we used to just watch a film and that was it. But this year I am actually going to be able to do something exciting with and for Minji.
There were many different options that I had been contemplating but I decided on going to my family's log cabin. Especially in the winter it always used to seem magical just the way I see Minji, so it's perfect.
The only issue is how I'm going to get her there as a surprise. Actually I could just tell her I booked a hotel for the night, maybe she will believe that?

"Soooooooo where are we going?" she asked me.
"Umm we are just going to a hotel." I nervously laughed.
"Oh okay." she said sounding a little disappointed.
We both got into the back of the taxi and I whispered the address to the driver. Fuck, this is going to be expensive.
As the car journey drew longer, Minji started to become more restless.
"How far away is the hotel?" she whined.
"Just a little further." I lied as she snuggled into me.
The log cabin was about a four hour drive from my house and it has only been twenty minutes. I haven't been there since I was a child but from what I remember it wasn't right next to the sea but it was about half an hour walk. But the cabin was very secluded in the middle of the countryside.
After a while Minji slowly drifted to sleep with her head resting on my shoulder and our fingers intertwined. I lowered my head and rested it on top of hers as I stared out the window, watching the raindrops trickle down the window. Soon I followed Minji and found myself drifting off to sleep.
"Why the fuck would you take me to the middle of nowhere? You basically kidnapped me, I don't wanna be here especially with you. I hate you, Haerin." she screamed at me.
Tears were streaming down my face as I begged her to stay, to stay with me.
"I never want to see you agai-"
"Excuse me Miss, we have arrived." said the taxi driver calmly as I woke up in a panic.
"Oh umm thank you, I have just transferred you the money." I said as I tried to calm down.
"Thanks Miss, have a lovely night." he said kindly.
"You too." I smiled.
We stood facing the lodge in the pouring rain, "this isn't a hotel?" said Minji.
"I know, I wanted to surprise you baby." I planted a kiss on top of her head before opening the door.
The inside was a lot smaller than what I remember but then again I was little so everything seemed bigger back then. The walls and floors were wooden and were complemented by the large wooden fireplace that was in the centre of the cabin. The second floor consisted of the bathroom and three bedrooms and then on the very top floor was the master bedroom with an ensuite.

Minji's POV:
The cabin is amazing and I wasn't expecting to be spending my weekend here, well wherever here is. But I couldn't help myself but to wonder about what Haerin had been dreaming about.
We made our way upstairs to the master bedroom, which was massive by the way, as it was late.
"Hey thank you for bringing me here." I said thankfully as I brushed my teeth.
Being here means that I won't be able to make the romantic dinner that I had planned out and I didn't even bring any clothes with me. Well apart from some lingerie but in my defence I thought that it was going to be one night and not a whole weekend. Luckily, Haerin let me borrow one of her hoodies and some boxers.
"No problem I wanted to take you somewhere special." she said as I joined her in the bed.
"So have you got anything planned for this weekend then?" I asked curiously.
"We will see." she said as she turned around.
"Erm no face me, I wanna talk to you." I pouted.
She turned back around. "Go on then." She said rolling her eyes.
"I know that you wanted to surprise me about what we are doing but could I put in a suggestion for now?" I asked.
"Sure?" she said giving me a questioning look.
But instead of giving her a verbal answer I captured her lips in a heated kiss.
"Oh I see." she mumbled against my lips.

The scent of avocado on toast and a caramel latte filled the bedroom as I woke up from my sleep.
"Morning sleepy head, I made you, well, us, breakfast in bed." she said as she walked through the door carrying a tray.
"Aww you didn't have to princess." I said giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"I know but I wanted to." she said as she took a big sip of her caramel latte.
I never imagined that I would wake up in the morning to someone like Haerin and have them make me breakfast in bed, partially because I don't eat breakfast but I will because she made it, but here I am and it's great. She's great.
"So what's on the agenda for today?" I asked even though she already told me she won't tell me.
"Minji I'm not going to tell you because it's a surprise but we may or may not be going to the beach.
"I KNEW YOU WOULD TELL ME." I shouted out of excitement, "but it's the middle of winter, why would we go to the beach?" I asked confused.
"Oh erm I hadn't thought about the weather I just thought that it would be a cute idea but I guess we could still have a little picnic on the beach." she said trying to sound cheerful.
"Well I think that's a great idea." I said giving her a chaste kiss.
