I stumbled down an alley, a deep gash in one of my legs, and a lump on my head.
"Hey, kid, you good?" A voice asked, and I turned around, pretty scared. A dark figure with blue eyes looked at my rough shape, and came closer as I backed away.
"W-What do you w-want-"
"I won't hurt you, I promise." I shuddered at the dark voice, but I stayed still as he came up to me. He had large burns over most of his body. It was probably pretty painful. "What's your name?"
"K-Kenadie...Kenadie McCarthy."
"Alright then, McCarthy. Come with me." He said as he started walking away. I just nodded and stumbled behind him as I had nothing better to do. I didn't mind him calling me by my last name, as I know that's what most people do in Japan. He brought me to a seemingly abandoned building, and went inside, holding the door for me.
