Julie was counting down the days, leading up to summer vacation. School was definitely taking a toll on her. She was bored in History class, when her teacher, Mrs. Crow, was lecturing everyone about The Trail Of Tears.
Her eyes became heavy, and looked almost bloodshot. The droning on of her teacher sent her into a deep slumber on her desk. Her snoring caught the attention of the other students.
"Julie, please stay awake!" demanded Mrs. Crow.
"Can't wait for the last day of school," muttered Julie. She stayed awake for the rest her class, till lunchtime. She dashed out of the classroom, and raced towards the cafeteria. BBQ rib sandwiches, was on the menu.
Julie got her tray, and sat down to eat. She couldn't wait for summer vacation. It just couldn't come fast enough. The last day of school was June 16th.
Which was roughly two weeks.
