It's been two days Officer Williams has told Isabella that her biological father would come and adopt her. She knew she shouldn't have hopes on the person who had abandoned her. But the girl had hopes deep beneath her heart. Those two days she lived in a social workers home. Miss Rosie. She was a charming woman. Red curly hair in a bun and a pencil skirt was always her outfit. Rosie gave Isabella a bed and fed her the two days.

Isabella wanted to say thanks to her but she couldn't open her mouth.

She was scared. She was scared that Greg is still out there. Watching her. She can feel his hands roaming around her body in her sleep. She hears his laughs in her head in her classes.

One time she was playing baseball she could feel him whispering her name in her ear. Which made her close her eyes when the ball was thrown and her nose broke.

She has a small bandage on her nose now.

Isabella is now sitting on the chair in Rosie's kitchen eating her snack. A chocolate. Not any ordinary chocolate it was her favourite.

Dairy milk oreo.

She was munching on it slowly. She didn't want it to end. She rarely got the chance to eat chocolate or to eat anything. The caretaker never gave them chocolates as they were unhealthy and Greg he never fed her anything. Isabella had to eat when Greg is passed out on the couch.

Isabella jumped when she felt a hand on her left shoulder. She turned around to her left side to see no one and quickly turned to her right side and saw Rosie on the chair. Rosie still had her arm around Isabella. Which made her so uncomfortable.

Isabella's fingers started tapping the table and her chocolate started shaking due to her moments. She slowly lifted her left shoulder to indicate Rosie to remove her arm off of her.

Rosie got the hint and took off her arm.
"How's your day Isabella?" Rosie asked Isabella sweetly in which Isabella just gave a smile.

"Your father had some flight issues so it took him awhile to get to you"—

Or he was not interested in her taking her Isabella thought.

—"he is coming to the station this evening. Until then you can rest here."

Isabella was about to nod but stopped when she remembered Jack's word. Today evening there's a match with the 10th graders. The 10th totally resented them when they lost. Their total reputation of 'bad boys'  was ruined so they want another match.

"I hav-ve a baseba-all match."

"Oh, it's okay just come to the station when the lights turn on. Okay?"
Isabella nodded she wrapped the gold foil around the remaining chocolate and kept it inside her bag. Safely. She took her bat and skateboard and headed off to the ground.

"BONY! Took you long enough."
Isabella rolled her eyes at this comment. Jack always says that to her.
"Are we gonna kick their asses again this time?" He questions her teasingly with a smirk on his his face. Isabella also respond with a smirk.

"Hey Jack, we gonna play cricket this time instead of baseball. You know it's quiet similar to baseball." The leader of the opponent says.

"But we didn't bring any cricket bats. And we decided on baseball." Jack protests. "Look blondie, we make the rules and you listen. Okay? Well we brought bats. lets share." He says with a smirk and his head tilt.

------------

They were killing it. It was sure that Isabella and her team were gonna lose. It was 7 runs need for three balls. There were screwed. If thy lose this they are gonna get bullied the rest of the year until they win another match. This was not fair. They were not prepared.

"There is no chance we could win but try your best." Jack says to Isabella with his head turned towards the score board.

7 runs in three balls. 7 runs. 7 runs.
The bowler threw the ball. It went above Isabella's shoulder which was clear wide.

Now it was 6 runs in 2 balls. Just one six shot. One six shot.
Isabella released a long breath trying to calm herself down and gripped her bat.

She saw the bowler throwing he ball with a great force. She swung her arm. She felt the ball hit the bat. The ball made clashing sound and flew in the air. The team cheered as the ball was in the air implying  it was a six.

But to their dismay the ball was caught by a fielder. They lost.

"See you tomorrow at school losers." They laugher at their open jawed faces.

Isabella's shoulders were slumped. She was on her skateboard to the police station.
She reached the police station and took the skateboard into her hand. She took the small three steps and entered inside.

She didn't feel two pair of eyes watching her from the first floor. Her father and her second eldest brother. Her father was about to fall on his knees at the sight of his daughter.

Officer Williams saw her entering inside and placed a hand on her back and leading into her family's room. Isabella didn't like his hand on her back. She was to remove it when the door infront of her was opened and she saw two strangers more like her family.

Both of the men were wearing black pants with their shirts tucked in. They were freakishly tall. Isabella was only 4'11. She looked up at a man who had little gray specks on his sides and looked a little old. Its her 'father' probably.

The man had a awestruck look to his face. He looked like he was controlling his tears.

The other man who rather looked young with blonde hair. He has a strong defined body. He looked like he could knock her out with a single punch.

The man with the gray specks kneeled down infront of Isabella. Isabella had to look down to meet his eyes now.
His hands were planted on his knees and he was staring in to her black eyes.

"Hey.. bambina. My names Leonardo, your father."

Isabella kept quiet. She wouldn't talk to him. She can't talk to a man who had abandoned and a complete stranger to her. She gives him a nod.
"This is"—he reaches out to the man in the back—"is your brothe Dante."

Dante kneels down too.
"Hey Bella."
She hates nicknames. They remind her of Greg. He calls her names when he forces himself on her.

She closed more like clenched her eyes for five second and reopened them.
Isabella would rather take the punishment of the 10th graders than living with these people for the rest of her life. Dante had blonde hair and dark eyes.

The father got up Dante followed  his movements.
"We'll take it from here officer."

Leonardo says to officer Williams. Leonardo places a hand behind Isabella's back.

Isabella immediately moves away from him and closer to the door. This action was noticed by every single person. in the room but no one speaks of it.

The door is opened for her.

"We'll go to your place and get your stuff ready for the plane."
