A day passed after the mission you've done was finished

I was concerned about the fact of the diamonds still searching and maybe wanting to hurt my friends....
(But why? The war was once over and they had peace) -you thought.
(Maybe there was gonna be still more conflicts? If that were gonna be the case i would be there fighting alongside the cristal gems) determined to help the Steven and the crystal gems , yet no reason you have found to even helping them at first glance.
But the way they just let me in rainy days, they gave me trust and they earned mine, besides Steven is a literal kid to face all of this alone.

Before you could finish my thoughts , Garnet interrupts you by putting her hand on my shoulder and asking me

Garnet:"hey , are you ok?"

Y/n:"yeah I was just thinking too much, I tend to be like that hehe" i said trying to laugh it off

Garnet:"if there's anything that bothers you , you can always tell us" garnet said with a smile , dang it I'm gonna blush-.

Y/n:"thanks... I appreciate it!" I said happily trying my best not to blush you still did a little though

Garnet:"no problem... So wanna come to train? , I know it's been only an hour since we got back, but maybe like this we can avoid too close situations" garnet asked , no way I would say no like that
Y/n:"of course!, Lead the way pls" i asked nicely

Garnet smiles and leads you to pearls room, your eyes brighten by the view, it was a huge training room!

Y/n:"wow! Wait Steven was already there"
Garnet:"yeah, you kinda lost track of time". Garnet teased a little.
Y/n:"I would've been more lost in your eyes~" i teased as well , garnet took this by surprise and blushed a little.
Garnet:"come on this isn't fair you went all in one second" garnet said smirking
Y/n:"y-yeah let's just focus on the training- wait what's Steven doing?"
I asked while I watched at Steven trying to defend himself from some holographic pearls or that's what looked to me
Garnet:"oh he was training on defense since he can summon a shield as gem weapon , it's getting hard for him though since he doesn't have a sword , still he does great with only the shield"

Y/n:"until he finds his sword, can I help him?" I asked worried that he might get too hurt

Garnet:"Alright, be carefull though"
Y/n:"okie dokie" i said jokingly while rushing at the end of the stairs and jumping to the cubic platform Steven was fighting the hologram pearls off
I grabbed one of the hologram pearls and used them to hit another hologram pearl away , i then kicked away the hologram pearl i grabbed before.

Steven:"yooo , y/n thanks I kinda been struggling with the training" Steven said a bit tired

Y/n:"yeah I noticed due to your well offensive weapon , even tho you were still doing great!" I tried to compliment my friend

You were taking by surprise by one of the hologram pearls who tried to stab you in the leg , Steven managed to stop the hit while you punched the hologram pearl

Amethyst:"coming on Steven and y/n! You can do it dudes!" Amethyst said cheering for you
Pearl:"remember be carefull with their pattern and try to not attack first all the time, they might predict your hits y/n" pearl warned about the holograms , suddenly getting more aggressive you plan something out.

Y/n:"Steven unsummon your shield and summon it at the count of three , ok?" You said to Steven , he nodded and unsummoned his shield , being able to rest I decide to hold the holograms out , I dodged and hit them as much as I could , then I counted down "1...2....3... And now Steven!" You yelled , he quickly summoned his shield again and you put yourself behind it , protecting Steven from the hologram pearls that were attacking from behind.
