I rewatched Dear Evan Hansen after a while and Oh. My. Candy.

DEH is one of the best musicals I've ever seen.

Even in it's most depressing context, it did make me cry like 5 times when I first saw it, but rewatching it after a while made me realize that this is a really good musical!

The reason why I love Dear Evan Hansen, despite it showing quite sad scenes and about depression and suicide

The fact that this musical exists should signal to adults that not being an adult doesn't mean you don't have "adult" problems. Basically, "Kids and teens can have 'adult' problems too".

That's also why I love Sincerely, Me, Waving through a window and You will be found

(all amazing songs out of context btw, strongly recommend watching the musical before binge listening to these songs, or even better don't search up a slime tutorial and don't watch the musical when you listen to the songs)

Sincerely me is quite depressing in it's context but it is just a reminder that depression and anxiety is a real problem that makes you hide things and hide stuff

Even You will be found, its context is lies and hiding things, but it really shows that, well people can crack too!

I think the context of the finale, especially with the words, is a strong message to the audience about keep going despite problems, anxiety and depression.

So, to anyone experiencing depression and anxiety right now,

You are not alone.

You will be found.

Sincerely, Me.
