It Always Gets Worse Before it Gets Better.

It wasn't long before Mina and Eijirou arrived at the station. Mina walked in and Sansa was immediately by her side and so was Izuku and Katsuki.

"Mrs. Ashido right this way." Sansa gestured towards the corridor

"Alright." Mina nodded with a sigh

Eijirou grabbed her hand beige she walked off and the other looked at him.
"Babe, if it's too stressful just leave." He told her and Katsuki nodded

Mina giggled.
"Ei, I'm just answering some questions. I'll be okay." She said kissing his lips and when they parted the other replied

"I know." Eijirou said making her grin

"I'll be back before you know it." Mina winked

"I'll go with you." Izuku volunteered letting the pink woman link her arm with him

"Aw thanks Izuku." Mina said as they followed Sansa towards the interrogation room

Eijirou and Katsuki watched them until they were out of sight.
"What the hell man?" The redhead looked over at his best friend

Katsuki didn't look back.
"I wouldn't have asked if it wasn't important Ei." He said finally turning to him with regretful eyes

Eijirou noticed his seriousness and obvious remorse
"What's going on?" He asked in a low tone

Katsuki sighed then led the other to an empty conference room. They walked to where the window was and stopped. Eijirou looked at Katsuki confused and expecting answers.

"Apparently Inasa recommended Yume to Mina. We need to know if that's true." The blonde said laying it all out to the redhead

Eijirou's crimson eyes went wide with complete and utter shock.
"Why would he do that?! That doesn't make any sense."

Katsuki leaned on the windowsill looking out at the road. Usually when a meeting is called the blinds come down but right now they're up so the sunny day can filter through the police station. Though for Katsuki no matter how sunny it is it feels like they keep getting shrouded in darkness.
"It was to eventually use Yume against me. When we broke up, he decided to tell him his plan. Inasa I mean." He glanced over to his best friend

"Plan?" Eijirou rose a red sharp eyebrow

Katsuki sighed and fully turned to him.
"He wanted me out of the way so he could have Izuku." He crossed his arms

Once again he was stunned.
"But he had-" Eijirou started only to get a peculiar look from the slightly taller

It's a knowing look, an encouraging look, like Katsuki was silently pushing him to the conclusion. Eijirou was going to say Shouto. But he had Shouto except yeah they already knew that. Shouto doesn't matter to Inasa apparently because he was willing to kill one of his best friends and expect not only for Shouto to not be upset, but Izuku too which would be absolutely impossible. What's worse was he was going to try and take Katsuki's place as if he could or actually his real plan, get in Izuku's pants again. It all makes sense though. The only people who know those villains would be Katsuki and whomever else was at the scene and a pro would be the only one to have access to that information. Eijirou can't believe it. He met eyes with the blonde who was letting him process this.

"He wanted to kill you so he could have Izuku and to do that he used Yume and the other villains who already had a vendetta against you." The redhead said rather than asked as if he was just thinking out loud much like Izuku does

"Pretty much." Katsuki nodded turning back to the window

"That's..." Eijirou trailed off because he truthfully didn't have the words he was looking for
