'Maybe it doesn't have to be eternity'

Felix leaned back, staring at the god of death surprised.

'What do you mean?'

'I think I might have found a way to get you back to the mortal world, back to your home'

The blonde couldn't believe his words.

'You what-'

Jeongin chuckled warmly.

'Why do you think I met up with you just now? I wanted to have at least the hint of a plan to undo your curse'

'That's... You're so nice'

Felix giggled too, leaning down and playfully kissing the other's lips again.

He was still sitting in Jeongin's lap.

'Wait until you hear what's my actual idea'

'Tell me'

'You know the Moirai?'

'The three sisters of fate?'

'Yeah, them'

Felix huffed.

'There aren't many things my mother is afraid of, but they're definitely one'

The older god smiled a little.

'With good reason. They are above and behind everything, even Zeus has mad respect'

He sighed.

'I know them a little bit. The oldest sister, Atropos, is responsible for the end of people's life - she's a symbol of death'

'Oh, so you're like siblings'

'Not at all but yes, kinda'

Before continuing, Jeongin took his time to swipe a blonde curl behind Felix's ear.

'I could' He briefly closed his eyes. 'See, they owe me something. I think I could struck a bargain to get you out of here, out of the pomegranate curse'

'What? You mean..?'

Felix's eyes were big enough that Jeongin could see his own reflection in them.

'Lachesis, the middle sister, is responsible for the events that happen in our life. I think that if we get her to listen to us, to agree to us...'

He waited a few seconds to let his words sink in, then continued.

'You could go back into the mortal world'

'They... they would really do that?'

'I don't know, but it's worth a try, don't you think?'

'I... yeah...' He looked away. 'If you say so'

The black haired carefully took his freckled face in his hands to make him look at him.

'You can go back, Felix'

'Maybe'

'Still, there's hope'

'That's... wow.'

His gaze got distant again, face seemingly emotionless.

Jeongin stared in silence.

He was waiting for overjoyed squeals, another kiss or at least... something.

Felix avoided his gaze.

'I thought you'd be happier to hear that'

'I am, believe me'

He didn't know wether he was.

He didn't know anything anymore.

He could just think of Minho.

What would the other do without him?

What would he do without Minho?

'You're thinking about Minho, right?'

Felix let out a groan and buried his forehead in Jeongin's neck.

'Do I have to take a decision now?'

'No. But I'll still go tomorrow to talk to them. You can decide when to go back'

'It's so...urghhhmpf'

'What?'

The last bit of Felix's words had been mumbled against Jeongin's collarbone.

'I don't want to think about him like that'

'Well that's too late now is it'

'Shut up'

For a few seconds there was silence.

Then Felix straightened himself up and cupped the older's face.

'You are amazing, gorgeous, I love you and thank you so so so much for that'

He pressed their lips together.

The older's hands moved to his neck to keep him close while their mouths moved against each other.

They enjoyed their closeness, their new found silent communication a few heartbeats long.

Eventually, Jeongin moved back.

'Felix, listen'

The younger gulped.

'Do it. Do what I can't do'

He sighed, contemplating wether he should pretend not to know what the older was talking about.

'And if you don't like it you can stop and go back up'

'And if i like it?'

'Then you enjoy it as long as you want and then go back'

They stared silently at each other.

'Or don't go back at all'
