The Boss and The Burlesque: ENCORE

Heartbreak.

The next day was tough for the blonde, he didn't go home. He went straight to a hotel and as soon as he got into the room, he fell to his knees and cried and cried. The pain in his stomach and heart couldn't compare to anything he's ever felt, he doesn't know how he fell asleep but he woke up in the bed.

His eyes were swollen and his cheeks red, his lips chapped. He must have even cried in his sleep he thought, he laid there as tears slowly escaped his eyes falling onto the pillow under him. He wanted this pain to stop, this feeling to leave and the memory to fade. He noticed his phone light up and that's where he saw the hundreds of calls and messages from Han's number. He saw the texts where it said it was Hyunjin and to please call him, he turned his phone off and turned to his side.

How was he going to do this, how was he going to go on in life ? He shares a home with this man, he is building a new home with him and not to mention how many businesses they have together and their company. How could he do all that ? suppose he could let Hyunjin keep everything. The blonde heard his phone ring and when he went to check it was Han, he knew it was probably Hyunjin but then the text came through "it's Han, please answer"

Felix let the phone ring a few times before he finally decided to answer, he was hesitant at first but if it was Han, he just wanted to let that man know he was okay. "Hello" Felix said with a strained voice, he realized his cries made his voice hoarse.

"Lix oh my gosh why haven't you been answering ? I've been worried sick ! Where are you ?" Han said, with a worried tone. He must have been up all night looking for Felix.

Felix sighed "Hannie I'm alright, I decided to stay at a hotel.. I couldn't go home" he began to choke up once again.

Han sighed over the phone "Felix you need to check on Hyunjin, he isn't doing well. He went on foot to look for you and he hasn't been seen since."

Although Hyunjin did what he did, he couldn't help but worry about him, that was still the love of his life and he still cared about him. He stayed silent for a while before he replied.

"Hannie, you should be telling Crystal this .. that's the woman he clearly has feelings for." Felix said and all he could hear on the other end was Han scoff.

"You really think Hyunjin loves her ? If he did why didn't he just leave with her last night ? No. Instead he ran the streets of Seoul calling your name, in the rain. He wouldn't have done that for her and I think deep down inside you know it" Han replied.

Felix couldn't help but agree, Hyunjin has never done half the things he's done for Felix for anyone else. For reasons unknown the blonde has had a power over the man since the first day they met, he is the only one that can bring this man to his knees and the only one that can calm his storms. He really does have that man in his web.

Felix could hear Han go on and on through the phone "Ok hannie, I'll go over to your house and we can talk there" he said. The man agreed and they both hung up. Felix getting up, instantly feeling weak but he had to get up.

Meanwhile

Hyunjin was down in an alley way, after searching all night for his husband with no luck. The tiredness from the flight and running all night, caught up with him and he had no choice but to fall asleep. An alley next to the dumpster wasn't the safest or cleanest spot to do this but he had no choice. He got up and realized he must be getting sick, his nose felt stuffy and his head was hurting, all this he could get over but the pain in his heart was the worst pain of all.
He kept playing the scene in his head over and over, he doesn't remember a thing up until Felix slapping him. How did he end up down there ? He knows he would never go willingly so why was he ?
The thoughts kept circling his brain over and over and yet he had no answers, no clear reason.

He walked and walked through the streets, he looked terrible. His hair was messed up and his eyes swollen, his clothes messed up and dirty. He didn't know where he was going but it's not like it mattered, he doesn't want to go home because the person he considers home is not there. He just hopes Felix is Okay.

Han and Minho were at the club, they decided to clean up for the day and close for a couple days till this whole situation gets cleared up. Han was in the middle of cleaning tables while Minho was pacing around, Hyunjin had no phone which meant no way to contact his boss. "Babe ... you need to sit down. You're going to drive yourself insane" Han sighed as he pulled out a chair for the man to sit. Minho shook his head "Hannie, I can't NOT worry, my boss is out there with no phone, no protection. Just wandering the streets with no one" he exclaimed.
Han could see the worry on his face and could see his relationship with Hyunjin is like his relationship with Felix. Best friends.

Han couldn't help but think of last nights events, to him it didn't make sense at all. Hyunjin would never cheat on Felix and yes lots of people can say that and do the opposite but with Hyunjin, loyalty is his biggest thing especially to those he cares about. To his team, his friends and his husband. It's all about Loyalty and yes Hyunjin has many interesting traits but being disloyal is not one.
Minho paced around a bit more making phone calls when he saw his husbands face become blank which indicated he was thinking.
"Hannie are you alright ?" Minho asked,

Han shook his head "I don't think Hyunjin cheated on Felix, but I have no way to prove it" he said.
Minho looked at him confused "what makes you think he didn't ?" Minho asked.

Han got up "Well when we all went down there last night and Felix confronted Hyunjin, it's like he didn't even know where he was at. He looked around confused and he kept grabbing his head. It's almost like he had no clue why he was down there" Han exclaimed. Minho nodded "I don't think he cheated either, Hyunjin is known for some very sinful acts but when it comes to Lixie that man would beg on his knees for his love" he sighed.
Han added "and something about Crystal has been bothering me ever since she got here, she comes out of nowhere for an audition and then puts on a blonde wig last night with Hyunjin" he exclaimed.
Minho was confused at the statement "well don't you all wear wigs ?"
Han rolled his eyes "babe don't you see what she's doing ? She's trying to take Lix's spot. Since the first day she came, she tried to go to his vanity, you know the one that Hyunjin made personally for Lix ? and then she performs just like him" Han exclaimed.
"It all seems too coincidental for me"

The two stayed silent before a dancer walked in,
"Hannie can I speak to you about something ?" The dancer asked quietly. Han nodded and directed her to the office, motioning Minho to follow, the three made their way to the room and shut the door.
Han sat in the chair "What's going on Kassy ?" He asked, he could see the girls anxious face, like a child who's scared to tell their parents they did something bad. "I didn't know how to say this .. but since last night it's been eating me up alive, you know with Lix and Mr. Hwang" the dancer spat.
Han and Minho nodded "Go on Kass" Han encouraged the girl took a big breath. "I know it's technically not my place to say but I don't think Mr. Hwang did what everyone thinks he did" she said.
"I know that's what it looks like but I have a feeling Crystal is the main reason for it happening" she added. Han grew intrigued because he also had that feeling "what makes you think that ?" He asked.

She put her head down "Hannie I don't think it was a coincidence she showed up here, from the beginning she has asked about Mr. Hwang and there was even a point where I think she was trying to seduce him, I don't know her real intentions but I know she's trying to take him from Lix" before han could reply she continued "what better way to finally be with him then by ruining their marriage"

Han knew deep down inside this was exactly it, "Kassy if we're going prove to Lix, Hyunjin didn't do this we need a plan" he said.
The three sat in silence for a minute before Kassy spoke up "I believe I know what will work but we need to have Mr. Hwang and Lix apart of our plan"
