The final bell rang, and everyone packed their things and left the classroom. I took my time putting my things away as the hallways cleared out.

I saw something out of the corner of my eye and looked over. San is leaning on the door waiting for me. When I meet his eyes, he smiles at me, flashing his dimples. My heart starts racing.

"Hey." He said.

"Hey." I replied, giving him a smile. I slung my backpack over my shoulder and walked up to him.

"You ready to go?" He asked.

"Yeah, I have everything." We exit the classroom and make our way outside of school.

"What are we going to eat?" I asked.

"It's a suprise." He said playfully.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes, really." He said.

"Is it far?" I asked.

"No. It's a few blocks down." San said. We got off school premise and walked in the opposite direction of Owls cafe.

I glanced over at San and blushed. Now that I'm closer to him, I can see how defined his muscles are. I wonder what he looks like without a shirt.

My mind begins to wander. San looks over at me and sees me staring. He smirks and casually flexes his arm.

I blush when I realize I've been noticed.

"Sorry for the..staring." I said awkwardly.

"It's okay. I do have a nice body." He said, flexing his arms. I laughed and swatted at him. He laughed, and the sound made my stomach flutter.

San stopped walking the building  stopped in front of was named Bears food.

"This is the place." He said and walked over and opened the door for me. I thanked him for holding the door and went inside he followed behind me.

The restaurant smelled amazing. The sound of boiling water and a knife hitting a cutting board greeted us.

"Hello welcome please seat yourself. I'll be with you in a minute." Called out a voice from the kitchen.

San walked over to a booth in the corner where it was quiet. He slid in and sat down, I sat across from him.

"You finally gonna tell me what we're gonna eat?" I asked.

"Give it a few more minutes." San said, smiling.

A waiter walked over to the booth we were sitting in, setting two ice waters down in front of us and handing both of us a menu.

"Hello, I'm your waiter for today. Is there anything I can get you?" The waiter asked.

"No, not yet. Thank you." San said politely.

"Okay, I'll come check on you in a little." The waiter said and then walked away.

I looked at San and then grabbed a menu. The items on the menu were all ramen bowls.

"This is a noodle shop?!" I asked, excited.

"Yeah." San said, smiling at my reaction.

"I love ramen." I said, looking at San smiling.

San blushed and picked up his menu. We were quiet as we scanned the menu. A beef bowl? That sounds delicious.

The waiter returned.

"Are you guys ready to order?" The waiter asked.

"I am. I want the beef bowl." I said.

"I want the miso bowl." San said.
