The drive wasn't long. San parked on  a gravel path that turned into dirt and went into the woods.

I looked at San and eyed him suspiciously.

San cut the engine and got out of the car.  I stepped out of the car and looked around.

It's pretty here. The trees are tall and lush. The grass grows wild, and theres flowers. There's the sound of birds chirping and wind rustling through the leaves.

San opens the trunk and grabs a basket, closing the trunk. He walks over to me with the basket in hand.

"What's that?" I asked, looking at the basket.

"Still a suprise." He smiled.

"Even the basket?" I asked.

"It's a part of the date, so yes." He smiled.

"Okay, fine." I pouted.

"We're almost there." San said, taking my hand in his. He walked us down the dirt path. There was a path through the grass he led me through. After a short trek, there's an opening.

The grass is shorter here, and it's surrounded by flowers.

San, let's go of my hand and sets the basket down. He opens it and takes out a big blanket. I help him spread it out. We sit down on the blanket, and I look around, surprised.

"Do you like it?" He asked.

"Yes. This is beautiful." I said, amazed.

"I'm glad you like it." San sighed in relief.

"How do you know about this place?" I asked.

"I was with Wooyoung and Jongho, and my car ran out of gas. I called a tow truck, and while we were waiting, Jongho saw the trail, and we walked around for a bit. Wooyoung is the one that found this place. The grass wasn't as overgrown when he found it, so it was easier to see. We come here every once in a while." San said.

"You always have such interesting stories about places." I said.

"I guess I do." San realized.

"What made you choose this for a date?" I asked.

"Since school has been so stressful, I thought spending time outside would be nice." San said.

"That's really thoughtful." I smiled.

San smiled and nodded. We sat there for a minute in silence, taking in the fresh air and the sounds of the forest.
The peaceful moment was interrupted by my stomach grumbling.

"I guess I'm hungry." I said, putting my hand on my stomach.

"I came prepared." San said, taking some containers out of the basket and setting them down on the blanket. He handed me a fork and opened the containers.

"This is baked spaghetti, and this is homemade pizza." San said pointing pointing at the two containers.

"It smells amazing." I said.

"Try some." He said. Fork in hand, I stabbed into the baked spaghetti and took a bite. The sauce was well seasoned. The flavor of tomato was there but not strong, and there were olives and mushrooms. The cheese was melted and crunchy in some places. It was absolutely delicious.

"This is incredible, San. The flavor is amazing. Did you make all this?" I asked, smiling happily. San blushed.

"Yeah. My mom helped me with the dough for the pizza." San said.

"Have some." I said, reaching into the basket and grabbing a second fork. I handed it to him and took another bite of the spaghetti. San tried the spaghetti and smiled proudly.

"This is really good." He said. I nodded my head, and we happily ate Sans delicious dinner.

When we were finished with the spaghetti, San put our forks in the empty container and put it back in the basket. I grabbed a slice of the pizza and took a bite.

It was regular cheese pizza, but the dough had way more flavor. The dough was amazing and complimented the cheese.

"You're a really good cook." I said.

"Thank you." San smiled. San grabbed a slice of pizza, and we continued eating. I finished a second slice and put my hand on my stomach.

"Oh my God, I'm full." I laid down on the blanket.

"Do you want to walk around a bit?" San asked.

"Yeah, that sounds nice." San helped me stand up and held my hand as we went back through the grass trail and followed the dirt path. The sun was starting to set as we walked through the woods. As we walked, my stomach didn't feel like exploding anymore.

The path came to an end suddenly. San looked around to see if there was another path and sighed.

"It ends here." He said, disappointed.

"Well, the walk was nice, and the spot Wooyoung found makes up for the lame hike. Come on, let's go back. It's getting late." I said, taking his hand in mine again.

When we got back to where we were before, everything was the same. I helped San pick everything up, and we walked to the car. San opened the trunk and put everything back inside. I opened my door and sat down. San came over.

"I'll be right back. I'm just gonna make sure we got everything." He said.

"Okay." I said hesitantly. We checked 3 times before walking back, and we barely brought anything. Oh, well.

San walked back into the woods. I closed my door and waited. After a few minutes, he came back and sat on the driver's side. He smiled at me and brought his hand up. He was holding a bouquet of the flowers that were in the field. I smiled, taking them.

"I forgot to get you flowers for our first date, and I didn't want to forget them again." He said.

"Thank you San they're beautiful." I said happily.

We buckled up, and San drove me back home. By the time we were back, the sun was gone, and it was dark out.

San turned the car off and looked at me.

"I really enjoyed spending time with you today." He said. I smiled.

"Me too. Especially dinner." I said. San smiled.

"Will you go on a third date with me." San asked. My heart skipped a beat. I was surprised he asked so quickly.

"Yes. This date I'll take you somewhere." I said. Sans eyes widened, and then he smiled.

"Okay. That sounds good to me." He said.

"Well, good night, San." I said, opening my door.

"Good night." He said. I got out of the car and closed the door behind me. I turned to wave bye but San was walking around the hood of the car.

He stopped in front of me.

"What? Did I forget something?" I asked.

San shook his head, stepping closer  he put his hand on my hip. My breath hitched at the touch. He leaned down, closing his eyes. I closed mine and he kissed me. His lips were soft and warm he still tasted like the pizza.

I've day dreamed what his lips would feel like on mine, but it's so much better than I could've imagined.

The kiss ended sooner than I would've wanted. San stood up a little straighter, still towering over me. I opened my eyes and met his. He smiled.

"Good night." Was all he said. He got back in the car and waved bye before driving away.

I watched his car leave. I reached up and touched my lips, feeling my face heat.

I rushed up the porch and inside the house. Before I could get to my room, I heard something.

"What was that?" My mom asked, stepping out from the living room.
