Who knew being engaged could be so fucking BORING!

Mason and I have been walking around and speaking to almost every guest here.

All I want is to drown myself in alcohol but every time Mason and I try to separate, someone walks over to us and starts talking to us.

"Oh my god! EDEN!" I hear Inaya call out and I let out a sigh of relief when I realize it's not another business partner.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Charlotte...Logan...making out." She says out of breath.

"WHAT?!" I gasp and everyone looks over at me, including Mason.

I take Inaya's hand and walk us over to the bar.

"Please tell me you're not lying."

"I'm not!"

I look over at Logan just to find him glaring at Sam.

Charlotte looks nervously at him and then at Sam.

"Oh my fucking god." I groan.

"I know!"

I turn towards the bartender and order Inaya and me a shot.

I could use a one...or ten.

Just before I could drink it, the shot glass was taken from my hand.

"What the-" I look over and see my piece of shit fiancé.

"We don't need you getting drunk." He says before drinking the shot.

"Are you kidding me?! You just drank it!" I whine.

"That's because I can handle my alcohol."

"I can handle my alcohol, right Naya?" I ask her.

She gives me a guilty smile before drinking her shot.

"Do you not remember our trip to Ibiza? I practically had to drag you back to your room." Mason says and I hear Inaya snort.

"It's Ibiza! Do you expect me to stay sober?" I argue.

"I expect you to stay sober tonight."

"You're no fun." I groan.

"I know, now let's go talk to more people." He says as he reaches for my hand.

"No! No! I don't think I can take any more social interaction."

He rolls his eyes and I scoff.

"Um yeah- I'm gonna go now," Inaya says awkwardly and I internally groan when she walks over to Char.

"Let's go, Eden," Mason says.

"No thanks."

"Stop being a fucking child!" He snaps.
