Eden passed out in my arms.
The news of her parents shocked her so bad, she actually fucking fainted.
She's awake now but we're no longer in that crowded room, we're back in her dressing room and she's frantically chugging a bottle of water.
I knew something bad was gonna happen the second she froze.
She does that a lot, she just disassociates for minutes at a time.
She usually snaps out of it on her own but based on the news she got, something told me she wouldn't be able to snap out of it.
Charlotte and Inaya immediately started to freak out but they were the ones who knew exactly how to wake her up.
I'm guessing this has happened before.
They're currently sitting at each of her sides, rubbing her back and making sure she eats.
There's a knock on the door and Eden immediately stiffens again.
"Come in!" I yell.
The doors slowly open and my family walks in.
"Oh sweetheart, are you alright?" My mom asks her.
"I'm okay Iris, thank you." Eden weakly nods.
I think its fucking time for this wedding to be over.
"What happened?" Miles asks.
"Uh-"
"She just got dehydrated," I explain and they slowly nod.
"Everyone went home, I think it's best if you two go home and rest, we'll all take care of the cleaning up." My mom explains.
"Oh no- we can't leave you alone-"
"She's right E, you need to rest," Naya adds.
Eden hesitates and looks at me.
"You need to rest," I tell her and she nods.
I slowly help her up and she grabs her jacket and clutch.
"Thank you all for coming." She smiles and everyone continues to tell her to go rest.
I know how Eden is, she enjoys having control of things so the second someone else takes over, she starts to freak out.
That might be the one thing we have in common.
She pulls on her jacket and we begin our walk to the car.
"Are you sure you're alright?" I ask.
"Yeah...I think I'm just tired."
We continue our walk, she's kind of leaning on me and I let her.
"Eden!" Someone suddenly yells and she once again tenses.
We both stop and my eyes widen when her body begins to shake.
