Well, things are...awkward.

I don't even know where to begin.

Crew and I haven't spoken a word to each other ever since he kissed me.

And it's getting a lot harder to avoid him now that he works from home a lot of the time.

My mind is all over the fucking place.

Does he like me? Was it an 'in the moment' type of situation?

I'm so confused!

"Naya look!" I'm immediately snapped out of my thoughts when Jack holds up a picture of a dinosaur in front of my face.

"It looks great, bud!" I smile.

"Are you okay? You keep losing focus?" He asks as he continues to color.

I swear this kid knows me way too well.

It's kinda scary.

"Yep! I'm great." I lied.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

"Okay...hey, can we go to the park and bring Maya?" He asks.

"Do you want to call her?" I ask and he quickly nods.

I pull out my phone and call her nanny before handing him the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Cara! Can I talk to Maya, please?" Jack asks and my heart melts at his manners.

He's so cute ugh!

Cara chuckles before agreeing.

There's some noise coming from the phone before a tiny high-pitched voice begins to speak.

"Hello?" Maya says.

"Hi, Maya!" Jack says excitedly.

"Jack!"

"Do you want to go to the park?"

"Yes! It's your turn to push me on the swing." She giggles.

"Okay, see you soon!" Jack says before hanging up the phone.

"Why don't you go get your coat, hat, and mittens and we'll head out," I tell him and he immediately sprints up the stairs.

I clean up all his coloring supplies before putting on my own coat and boots.

Jack comes back down and before I can say anything, he heads into his dad's office.

I would stop him but the idea of looking Crew in the eye makes me nauseous.

He returns a couple of minutes later and slips into his boots.

"Ready to go?" I ask.

"Wait! Daddy is coming too." He says and my stomach sinks to my ass.
