Few hours later..

"Kazuha.. Kazuha.."

"That voice.. it's familiar.."

"Kazuha."

"Come on.. wake up.. I can't.. open my eyes.."

"KAEDEHARA KAZUHA!"

*Kazuha immediately opened his eyes quickly, it was the bird who shouted.. Kazuha's heart was beating so fast that scared him for some reason. He shook his head and looked at Cloud retainer.*

"C-cloud retainer.. sorry for falling asleep I'll leave."

"No Kazuha, you can stay, I just thought you were dead."

*Kazuha looked at Cloud Retainer in shock and confusion, so he got woken up.. because she thought Kazuha was dead? He was a bit annoyed but he didn't show it and he smiled.*

"Well thank you for checking in on me. I appreciate it."

"Of course, so long now."
*and with that, she walked away into a small crack into a cave. And was gone.*

*Kazuha sighed, he looked up at the sky and he smiled softly, he closed his eyes again and drifted off into sleep again, though it was different.. the feeling of being.. carried? Kazuha was slowly waking up. He was facing the ground but the ground was moving? He looked up and saw he wasn't at his previous location. He freaked out, he was being carried over someone's shoulder, he started to squirm to try and get out the person's grasp but suddenly. They spoke, that voice..*

"Quit squirming around, you were gonna get attacked."

*The balladeer.*

"S-Scara?! Wait.. how did you know where I was anyway?!"

"Don't ask questions, just be thankful I saved you."

"From what exactly?!"

"Treasure hoarders. Now don't ask questions Kazuha."

*Kazuha just stared at Scaramouche in disbelief, Scaramouche saved him? Scaramouche.. cared about him..? He felt a bit uncomfortable from the position he was in right now. But he felt weak for some reason, it was strange, so he just ignored it and let Scaramouche carry Kazuha over his shoulder.*

"Kazuha, how are you feeling?"

"I'm.. feeling good just, I feel weak for some reason.."

"Well the treasure hoarders did manage to hurt you. So I didn't really come in time, I'm sorry."

*Scaramouche apologized.. he cared! Kazuha looked at Scaramouche and managed to get out of his grasp, but he was to excited to even remember that he was hurt, Scaramouche immediately catched Kazuha before he could fall.*

"You care for me?!"
*Kazuha's eyes were filled with excitement and hope.*

"No, that's not what.. this is about.. I just thought I would get you out of there."

"But that means we're friends right!?"

"AGAIN! WE'RE NEVER GONNA BE FRIENDS!"

*Kazuha hugged Scaramouche and he smiled.*

"Thank you so much Scara..."

"Hey! Don't hug me!! Kazuha get off!!"

*Kazuha wouldn't let go of Scaramouche and he hugged him tighter, he was to happy to even hear about anything else.*
