October 23rd..

Kazuha's pov:

The Traveler, Nahida, and I were talking about the missing incident about Scaramouche, the traveler said they ran into him a few times. I was a bit surprised but I questioned about their interactions together but they weren't so good interactions.. I was shocked to hear that Scaramouche tried to kill them this one time, Nahida herself was shocked but since she is the god of wisdom and knows her knowledge, she practically always knew this..

We continued to talk about the incident, then the traveler asked an unknown question..

Traveler- "Wait, when you arrived at Sumeru was he acting weird?"

Kazuha- "Not that I remember.. except when I was with Nahida, he kept giving her side glares.."

Nahida- "I do remember that.. he would always roll his eyes at me and ignore me, but with Kazuha he always gave his attention to him."

Traveler- "Oh? He has a favorite~"

Kazuha- "Hey! Stay on topic!"

Nahida- "wait.."

We all turned our attention to Nahida, her face seemed like a child who just solved a math equation. I tilt my head to the side slightly and asked what was wrong, but her face just seemed shocked still. She got up off her seat and ran out the tea shop place, we were all left surprised. We followed right after her and she just kept running, we reached at her place and we walked inside. She placed both hands on her knees panting heavily, we ran in and went over to her making sure she was okay.

As soon as she caught her breath, she went over to the middle of her place and starting do something. We didn't know what it was exactly so we just watched her, she kept doing this see through green screen. It made sounds whenever she clicked something, I'm assuming it was some type of ability of hers. When Nahida eventually stopped doing what she was doing, she turned her head to us. Then turned her whole body around to us, we asked what was wrong and she just looked down. She took a deep breath, she raised her head up..

Nahida- "I'm afraid that.. the Balladeer, has made a completion.."

Kazuha & Traveler- "completion?"

Nahida- "Look.. I was locked away because my people didn't find me as their suitable archon, and they were planning on making a new god. A better god.. so I'm afraid.. the Balladeer..? Is behind all of this mess, he gave me those glares cause he was mad that I had escaped and gotten recused! And so now what I'm thinking is.. that Scaramouche you once knew Kazuha, is not him anymore."
