it was our last show today, and honestly, i'm going to be quite sad to go back home. aiko had been great company, and her team where more than accommodating whilst we've toured with them.

i can only hope we find a group of people half as good when we finally decide to tour our new album.

we had made quite some progress on the status of that. we now had five songs ready and lined up, and in the works of producing another three. those last three being all songs sung by me, so it was a bit of work teaching suna exactly what i imagined on the drums. he's getting there, though.

one of the three songs are also the one that terushima stole from me. the solicitors had been no help, all of them unable to find anything useful in the gray area of i had the lyrics written but he produced and got to the rights first. it was frustrating, but that was the music industry. and it's nothing if not a hell of a lot of work.

i'm chewing the inside of my lip when osamu walks through the door into the room. we were all currently backstage, waiting for aiko to finish her show. as always, she planned on bringing us back on the stage to play the last song on her setlist.

the two of us had grown quite close, with being the only two girls on the tour, but we hadn't spent that much time together. she was far too busy at meetings, or coordinating things for all of the shows. the time off that she did have, she spent at a spa or literally just sleeping.

i didn't blame her. as much as i've enjoyed myself, i am exhausted.

osamu takes a seat beside me on the couch, and atsumu walks in a second later.

"i can't believe it's our last show." atsumu says, just as he takes a seat on the beanbag in the corner.

"you know what they say, time flies when you're having fun." his brother replies to him, but i'm not sure i'm listening. my drumstick spins in between my fingers, and my eyes don't leave it.

the twins are bickering about something when the last member of the band walks into the room. i don't look up at suna, even when he sits down right in front of me. i can see him watching me from my peripheral vision, but i don't pay attention.

suddenly, all i can think about is going back home, and back to where i'm most likely to run into terushima.

the drumstick in my hand speeds up, twirling faster than before. i hadn't let myself get angry at the situation, for the sake of not becoming the bad guy, but at this point i didn't care.

i'd done everything i can, legally, and nothing prevailed. there wasn't any chance i would let him get away with it, so i had to think of ways to get back at him while also reclaiming my song.

and when the idea hits me, i catch my drumstick in my fist, ceasing its movement. "we need to do a show when we get back."

all three boys stop their conversation, and look at me.

"we've just done like 8 shows, shouldn't we take a break?" osamu asks, looking at me, slightly worried.

i shake my head. "i can't sit and do nothing for another day, knowing that blond bastard keeps getting paid for my song."

suna moves his arm, and i look at him. he rubs his jaw, with a smirk on his face. he probably knew this was coming. atsumu looks between the two of us, and then settles his gaze on me.

"where are we gonna find a venue that'll book us in so short notice?"

i scoff at atsumu, meeting his eye. "we just toured with aiko, our fanbase has doubled, they'd be stupid not to."

i see osamu shrug, nodding his head. "she has a point. give it a week and i'm sure we'll find somewhere."

"i've secured us a venue for saturday night." suna speaks up, finally. he looks up from his phone as we turn our heads toward him.

i look at him, grinning. "that's awesome."

"oh, nevermind then i suppose." atsumu sits back, and looks at me, yet again. "so what's the plan?"

the whole time that i tell them what i'm thinking, there is a smile on my face. it felt good to finally be doing something. and from the reactions on their faces, they were well on board with it.

"thank you so very much for being with me tonight." we hear aiko wrapping up her song, and we make a move to the side of the stage.

i've suddenly got a pep in my step, that i thought i'd lost.

"so for one final time, let me hear you give it your all for the amazing band that has opened for me throughout this tour. they are NOT OK!"

we run onto the stage, and as the boys situate themselves in front of their microphones, i make my way to the drums.

and strangely enough, this final song was our best performance all tour.
