Kristen eating a green marker and Paul McCartney lighting his sleeves on fire were all inspired by the scenes with Steve Carell and the baby in "Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No-Good Very Bad Day".
Also, the announcement said Idina was just gonna suck in Calvin's car fumes, but then I thought that her driving away and knocking down parking meters was funnier.
