"Hola, my friend. I come bearing pastries," Sam walks through the Family Video doors, holding up a bag. 
"Have I told you I love you?" Robin grins. 
"You can say it again," Sam shrugs. 
"I love you," she reaches for a bear claw. 
"I love you too. Where's the big guy?"
"In the back, getting pretty because he knew you were coming."
"I was not getting pretty, thank you," he narrows his eyes at his best friend, who gives a cocky grin. 
"Please, you spent more time on your hair than I did this morning," Sam fondly rolls her eyes.
"Whatever," he waves her off, wrapping his arms around her and planting a kiss on her lips. 
"Will you guys ever learn how disgusting PDA is?" Robin grimaces.
"We'll try to tone it down," Sam chuckles.
"No, we won't," Steve shakes his head, making his way behind the counter already. 
"This is why I like her better," she glares, turning to Sam. "I saw Michelle's car. Did she apologize?"
"Apologize for what?" Steve raises his eyebrows. 
"Yeah, she claims she doesn't think before she speaks. It's whatever."
"I can tell it's not whatever. You practically stormed off yesterday."
"What happened? What'd she say to you?" Steve furrows his eyebrows, eyes planted on Sam.
"It was just a stupid comment. Something about the only reason people like me is because now I'm your girlfriend."
"It was a very shitty thing to say," Robin adds. 
"Bullshit. We've only been dating for 8 months," he grows annoyed. 
"I know! And it's like no one understands how demeaning it is to always be called someone else's something. I'm not just Steve's girlfriend."
"Hey, we know that," Robin points between herself and Steve. "If anything he's Samantha's boyfriend."
"Absolutely," Steve nods in agreement. "I thought Michelle was your friend."
"She is. That's why the comment was so out of left field. I mean, she doesn't even like you."
"What'd I do?"
"I don't know. I don't even want to talk about this anymore. I'm over it. Did you guys see the news this afternoon?" 
"Yeah, someone from our school died? Possibly by murder?" Robin's eyes widen. 
"You guys don't think it's... you know... Upside Down related, right?" Sam questions.
