teddy altman - cardio godess

"Your too damn young for him" miranda bailey scolds you for no reason at all
"With all do respect i have no idea what your talking about?" you say but it comes out as more of a question "I just need to speak with the chief"
"Oh so do I dr. Bailey" Cristina pipes out from behind you "There's a new head of cardio and i swear I know more about cardio then she does"
"Okay i'm going to pretend I didn't hear that Yang and as for y/l try finding him later and keep in mind he's married" with that she walks away
"I think she thinks i'm sleeping with webber" you laugh
"He calls her the cardio godess" your friend mumbles
"Who calls who cardio godess?" you ask because you have no context whatsoever
"Owen calls Altman cardio godess" she yells loudly out of frustration and everybody turns to look at her
"Somebody's jealousssss" you laugh under your breath
"Oh shut up already" she elbows you playfully "And maybe I am. I have every right to be shes literally every man's type. Like ever."
"Okay well in that case take me to her" you say excited and cristina rolls her eyes at you "I like women remember?"
"Oh my god enough i'll take you just. stop. talking." she sighs in disbelief
You follow closely behind cristina to outside of the main entrance to the hospital and see Dr. Hunt sitting on a bench next to quite literally the most gorgeous girl you've ever seen. Blonde hair, button nose, and the most beautiful green eyes. Your jaw just drops and cristina notices.
"Oh come on" she scoffs "She's not that great. Is she?"
"Oh you have nothing to worry about babes" you pat her on the back
"Oh? I don't? I thought you thought she was hot" she says confused
"that's exactly why you don't have to worry" you say confidently "She won't be with owen because she'll be with me"
"Oh you don't have the guts" cristina shakes her head laughing
"Watch me"  you say and walk over to where owen and teddy are sitting.
You slide right next to teddy on the bench and she turns to look at you. You immediately put your hand out for her to shake.
"I'm y/n l/n" you say as she shakes the hand you extended "and your teddy altman head of cardio"
"You've certainly done your research" she looks at you amused
"Oh trust me i have" You go to pull away from the handshake but let your finger linger on one of her knuckles. You can tell she noticed because she looked down and blushed.
"I'm gonna just excuse myself" owen says laughing
"Bye Hunt" you say
"Save lives" Teddy shouts after him as he walks away
"You, me, joes, 6:00pm tonight" you say
"I'll be there" she looks you straight in the eye
"good" you smile at her and kiss her cheek
