(M|n) couldn't believe that he'd been given access to such a large library. It had been a long while since he'd seen this many books in one place. He thought the House of Lamentation's library was expansive but it turned out Lord Diavolo's Royal Library was ten times the size of theirs. . . Well, Diavolo was a king, of course he would have a library of this magnitude.

(M|n) didn't know how he could thank Diavolo for this great opportunity! Satan would be so jealous if he knew where he was right now. . .

(M|n) perused the never-ending shelves, his eyes roaming on each intricate title. He frowned as he was presented with numerous tales to pick from. His initial giddiness wore off as he realised that he would have to pick out something that interested him. This is going to be so hard. . . (M|n) struggled with making decisions, and it only made it worse when there was a large selection to choose from.

He looked at every single book, peeking at their summaries to see if they interested him. To his annoyance, each one that he looked at, he grew interest in. How was he going to pick one out now. . . ? He sighed heavily and glared at the shelves.

He didn't want to spend the whole day making a choice but with the way it was going right now, that was what would probably happen. He paced back and forth, pondering on the books that he had just looked at. Which one would be the best. . .? He stood around these books for at least almost ten minutes, struggling to pick out which one he thought he would prefer the absolute most.

He was so consumed with his thinking that he did not hear the entry of Barbatos. He blinked in surprise when a book was suddenly thrust into his fidgeting hands. (M|n) glanced up with wide eyes as his sight was met with Barbatos, who was giving him a genial smile as he passed him the random book.

"I noticed you were struggling to pick one. I have taken a look at every single book in this entire library and have knowledge behind the story of each one. I am sure that this one would definitely be to your tastes." Barbatos explained. (M|n) felt relief as the choice was made for him.

If Barbatos believed that this was a suitable book for his tastes, he definitely had faith in his words. With an excited grin, he madly nodded his head.

"Thank you so much! If it wasn't for you, I would've been here for the whole day." Barbatos bowed.

"I am happy to be of assistanc. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some duties to attend to. Enjoy your reading. Young Master said he will join you once he finishes his paperwork for today." (M|n) was grateful that Diavolo was willing to free up space in his busy schedule just for him. He already gave him access to this great library, he didn't need to do even more than that!

Barbatos left once saying his piece, leaving (M|n) to his own devices. He was quick to take a seat at one of the empty tables. His fingers were tingling with enthusiasm. He loved the feeling he got when he started a new book. He had no idea in what direction the book would go. Would he like it? Hate it?

He never thought that he would be able to continue his intense reading habits when he was brought to the Devildom. Before coming here, he had a very limited understanding of demons. He didn't know they could talk, have feelings, have interests and so on. Coming to the Devildom was such a shock for him. As he learned more about what demons actually were, he grew to like them.
